I find that if one friend is pregnant, then a bunch are, just like celebrities.
So I went back to my Facebook, and other than me, five of my friends are pregnant right now (or is it six?) they're not all in the same circle, but are all connected to me in someway.

This is a fun game!
On my Facebook 5 friends are currently pregnant and 8 have given birth within the last six months. I only talk to a couple of them outside Facebook though, so I'm not sure how much it counts.

ok, maybe not 1,000... but it's a lot. i can't even count. but, i went to a college that really pushed marriage. so now that we've been out a few years, the baby making has begun. and this baby making extravaganza has really given me baby fever!

One, possibly two. The one we've known about for a month or so. They just had their anatomy scan and are having another boy. Their recently announced pregnancy has been hard on me because they're kind of flip about being able to conceive both kids on first tries while we're on cycle number 4. They both lack the empathy and sympathy to understand how hard TTC can be even early in the process. They announced during last cycle's fertile period for me. I cried for myself when they announced it.
Last year was the year of pregnancies. This year (2011-2012) is starting off slow.

TONS! My BFF, DHs bffs wife, DH's sister, 2 coworkers, and I can think of 4 other people in my extended circle of friends who are pregnant, all due between X-mas and April!

facebook friends... like 3.... REAL LIFE friends? I just found out my very first best friend is pregnant and due a month before me. SO AWESOME. We're keeping in touch by writing because we're across the country, but -- YAY!

oddly enough everyone i knew was due within the same week as i was! 3 friends within 3 blocks all gave birth in the last month. then coastinganon and geekinheels were also due the same week as i was. i think i only have one pregnant friend right now...

There are about 7 pregnant ones and about a million that have just had babies! I swear to you I see a new "Welcoming home baby" status on FB every day. The answer is probably more around 20. Seriously.

Hmmm, my sister is pregnant (1 month behind me with her 3rd), my cousin is pregnant (about 8 weeks behind me), I have two friends that are pregnant and due 1 month before me, and one of my best friends just found out she is expecting after a successful IUI so she'll be due about 12 weeks after me. A lot!
Also, within the last year,, i have had 9 friends that had babies!

One just had a baby last week, one is due in eight days, several others are mid-way along, and three just announced their pregnancies. Makes me a teensy bit sad that I'm not part of the group, but I'm still happy for them.
I think its partly to do with our age - early-mid twenties is baby-making time for most of the people I know, and will be for me too... soon. *sniff*

I forgot that some of my old high school/FB friends are expecting seconds right now. One gave birth recently to her second. She had infertility problems, so it took her awhile with her first. Another high school friend is expecting her second.

When we were struggling with TTC, EVERYONE was pregnant. Honestly, like I didn't have a single person that wasn't pregnant! But now that I am pregnant, they have all had their babies, and I am the only pregnant one!

All 3 of the granddaughters on my mom's side of the family are pregnant right now. It's so fun! My g'ma has been begging for great-grandkids for well over 5 years now so she feels like she's won the lottery!
Three FB friends recently (like in the last 3 weeks) had babies and probably 5 more are pregnant.
I think you notice it more when you are focused on it- like when you're TTC or pregnant yourself.

I have no idea how many people on FB are pregnant - I don't really keep up with it. In my every day life, I have no pregnant friends. I wish I did because it would be fun to talk to someone about this whole experience, but I'll make it work.

Only one...a very close friend who is only about 3 weeks ahead of me. We are both newly pregnant for the first time so it's exciting that we can confide in each other since we can't share the news with many other people yet. Plus it's nice for me b/c she can give me the 'heads-up' on what I can expect!

Last summer I had about 7 who were. It was crazy! I threw 3 baby showers in 4 months! Now, I have NONE! Kinda like the break! Haha It was just a lot, especially seeing two really close friends and then SIL, so it was a lot. I think the 3 babyshowers so close together burnt me out. Haha

A lot! I'm 28 so a lot of my friends just got married. In the past year, I think I know of about 10 friends having babies or getting pregnant.
