I live in a densely populated suburbs, but for some reason, our street/neighborhood doesn't get any trick or treaters. Boo!

It's been slowly winding down the last few years. So we didn't expect many last night with the weather being so crappy. But, alas we had over 50 kids. And had JUST enough candy!

I'm not sure how many we had.. we had a box of 70 candies, and I ate at least 20 before halloween.. so around 50 maybe? Some kids I gave a couple to.. but then we ran out so DH biked to the store to get more... and not one more kid showed up after he returned with the extra candy! LOL.

Last year we got about 120, but this year we probably only got 50 or 60. Seems like everyone in our city had fewer trick or treaters this year, on account of the heavy rain we had last night.

@mrs. bird: We had 8 bags from Costco some chocolate mixes and some non chocolate bags. Our neighborhood is super done up. Lots of decorated houses.

literally zero. DH and i hung out on our street at the front of the driveway a couple years ago when we were all excited. and only our direct neighbors came by. we ended up leaving the bowl out for a couple hours and nothing was taken. i didn't even bother this year.
