I'm starting to get uncomfortable at almost 27 weeks, certainly not unmanageable though. Hoping to work to 36 weeks so hoping the unbearable uncomfortableness comes after then!

I only made it 34 weeks, but I was never uncomfortable. I hear around 36+ it gets uncomfortable. I think being pregnant in the summer makes it worse.

I think somewhere around 34-35 weeks I was uncomfortable, but really uncomfortable at and after 37!

@littlek: I agree! I was due end of September. The heat was killer. I just lived in the AC!

I was due mid October. I started having bad sciatic pain around 12 weeks. The way she was sitting in me pushed on a nerve. I'm short so the only way she grew was out and up into my ribs. I was pretty uncomfortable by 27 weeks and then I was super uncomfortable when I went back to school in August. I worked until the day before I had her. I will say that last day (didn't know it was going to be my last day before having her) I was super tired and huge. I walked to our cafeteria and was just done by the time I got there.

Thankfully I didn't get uncomfortable with either one! I had R at 40 + 1 and S at 38 + 1. Of course there was occasional discomfort but I was never done. Maybe it won't get worse for you!

Uncomfortable around 32 weeks, gave birth at 39+3, never felt over it.

My back started hurting around 34 weeks. It got worse and worse. I delivered at 38+1 and had had it at that point! I would have cried if I went past due.

I got uncomfortable at 33 weeks. I go completely fed up at 39-40 (she didn't show until 42). I remember turning down an invitation to a BBQ because I wasn't fit company. I was such a grouch.

For me being uncomfortable really came and went. I actually started a thread around where you are (26 weeks maybe?) where I was really uncomfortable and really worried that it was just going to get worse. Then a few days later it got better. It went on like that until the end really. As long as I didn't have to be on my feet too much I wasn't really ever THAT uncomfortable for more than a day or two at a time (and I made it to 41+2).

I was uncomfortable from about 35/36 weeks on... I went into labour at 40+1 but if I had gone much overdue I am sure I would have been fed up to the max!
watermelon / 14467 posts
It started at 28 weeks, but I went to the chiropractor regularly from then on out and it never got horrible.

Around 33/34 weeks is when I started getting uncomfortable. I am now 38 wks and I am soooooo ready to be done!

I was never that uncomfortable other than my back hurt. I was pregnant in the winter though.. summer probably would have been different!

I think for most the 32 mark is pretty common.
27-28 is when you really get big and then the real uncomfortableness sets in.
I think another breaking point was around 38 weeks.

I was honestly so happy and fine with it till 39 weeks. That's when I started to lose my shit. I went till 40+5 and that lady week was endless.

i'm 31 weeks today and am pretty uncomfortable, and have been for a couple of weeks. it's hard for me to get in and out of the car, my feet and ankles are swollen, my back hurts, the list really can go on...
but i am caring for a toddler all day and i'm sure that's not helping much. and it's 900 degrees outside. ugh!
with my first pregnancy i think i felt pretty good until about 37/38 weeks. i was over it once i went past my due date, but that was probably more a mental thing. hang in there!

Uncomfortable probably 33 weeks. I was miserable when we moved at 35 weeks even though my family didn't let me do a lot. I told DH two hours before my water broke that I was done. We were getting her out somehow! Luckily my water broke cause sex so didn't sound appealing.

@Weagle: I'm glad I'm not the only one who says uncomfortable at conception. I saw the ? and I was like, "before I took my pregnancy test? Ha!" I had awful morning sickness and then awful heartburn and then awful back pain so really I was never comfortable my whole pregnancy.
Fed-up by 35.5 weeks when I started having every-five-minutes prodromal labor contractions every friggin day. Lettie was born after 2 weeks of those contractions at 37.5 weeks.

Started feeling mild discomfort at 32 weeks. Got worse at 34. Now at 36 I'm cranky and uncomfortable all the time it seems. And almost to the point of being over it, but trying not to rush my last month of being able to nap whenever. It's my first! Oh and the summer heat/swollen feet??? Possibly the worst part of pregnancy and that says something considering I also have a hemorrhoid.

I never felt over it, but I finally got the "holy cow, I am SO PREGNANT" feeling around 37 or 38 weeks.

I don't remember feeling REALLY uncomfortable (like all day) til the last week (delivered on my edd.) I was lucky. Recovery, though... Ugh.
Eta, it was hot here (in the 100s sometimes) but I honestly wasn't so bothered by that.. Not any more than when not pregnant. I just ran the ac.So there's hope summer won't be too difficult pregnant.

I started feeling a little bit uncomfortable at around 33 weeks and now, at 36 weeks, I'm very uncomfortable. No matter how I sit, stand or lie, I feel kind of crappy.
I wouldn't say I'm over it, though. It took us so long and we went through so much to get pregnant that I am always grateful to be in this condition.

Uncomfortable around 37 weeks and absolutely finished by 39 weeks. I walked into my manager's office the start of 40 weeks and told him I was going on FMLA the next day because I couldn't do it anymore

I never really felt like it was unbearable. I enjoyed being pregnant, mostly. It was pretty uncomfortable after about 30 weeks or so when she was permanently all up in my ribs!

Uncomfortable around 34, never unbearable, but I was definitely ready for him to come out when he arrived on 40+1.

I don't remember being uncomfortable with my first pregnancy. I see pictures of myself and think holy shit, was I really that big?!
This time, I've been over it since 26 weeks. I'm so much bigger this time, and have been waddling for weeks. I'm uncomfortable, can't sleep at night and feel like I've got a boulder smooshing my pelvis.

Uncomfortable around 35/36, and had LO at 36 weeks so never had a chance to feel like I was over it.

Started getting uncomfortable around 30 weeks and was over it by 34 weeks. It never got extremely uncomfortable, I just felt done. He was born at 37+1 at 7 lbs 13 oz, and I carried huge, so I think I could have been uncomfortable earlier than some. I think, in terms of working, it really depends on how active your job is.
pomelo / 5326 posts
I started feeling uncomfortable and sore around 37/38 weeks. Before that I felt pretty great except for some leg cramps and first trimester sickness. I still enjoyed being pregnant at the end. It wasn't that bad for me.
