I would at least see if you could get a second opinion. Totally not the same thing, but the day I went into labor, I *knew* something was different and my midwife kind of laughed it off because I was only 37+3 (I had a regularly scheduled appointment that morning). Sure enough, my water broke that evening. So I definitely think there's something to be said for trusting your body and if you think something is wrong, keep at it until you find someone who will listen to you.

I think it's normal to be constantly worried when you're high-risk, but I think its best to trust the medical professionals in this case. But if you're worried, ask for extra monitoring! That definitely couldn't hurt. I was always worried something would go wrong because of what it took to get pregnant, but pregnancy and labor were normal for me.

Not what you're asking, but if I was you I'd ask to be delivered.

My water broke at 30w, I made it to 32w before having cord prolapse. I had contractions earlier that day (which stopped with iv fluids) and wish that they had just delivered the baby then, saving him from the later birth injury. Hindsight is 20/20! Not to scare you, just sharing my perspective. Good luck

I absolutely believe in it. With my first m/c, the day I started bleeding I had no doubt it was over. I wasn't freaking out, I just knew. And I was right. The bleeding wasn't heavy, or anything that would have indicated that it was definitely a big deal. The doctor barely even took it seriously and took hours to even get back to me. But I knew. I also had a bad feeling about my second pregnancy, which betas confirmed wasn't going right. I trust myself on these things, enough so that I, personally, would push for early delivery if I really felt like something was wrong.
