There are so many pictures of gas prices on social media! It really is like a tax break for the working class. Now if only the price of food would come down too!
How much does gas cost where you live - and how much has it come down in recent months?

1.69! I think it's like a dollar drop since last summer. It's a HUGE drop for us, coming from England. Gas on the base was $4/gal and up and off-base it was like ~$9/gal.

Gas Buddy says the cheapest nearby is $1.95, but I just paid $2.19 on Sunday, and the cheapest I've paid lately is $2.09.
ETA: I was in Turks & Caicos in December and gas was $6.19!!

$1.89 at Costco, and it cost less than $50 to fill up our SUV! My husband was so happy

The last time I noticed it was around $2.29. Remember when gas was under $2, a decade ago?? Good times.
ETA: I can see some of you don't have to look back a decade for cheap gas! Lucky!

1.85 at Sam's Club! My Acadia only cost me $33 dollars to fill up, it's usually double that. I seriously was so excited.

Jealous of all of you! I'm in the burbs of Philly (PA side), and the cheapest here is $2.26 so far!

The cheapest I've seen lately was $2.05, but that's not convenient to where I live/work. On my route home, the cheapest is $2.15.

I saw it at $1.78 this morning on the train. The place I go is usually about 5 cents cheaper than this place. Hopefully it will be even less this weekend when I need to fill up!

In Connecticut and it's about $2.70 right now. It's always expensive, so I REALLY appreciate my beloved Prius.

I wish I could say I don't know because I drive an electric car all of the time, but sadly, I have no idea because it pains me to look when I am filling up my car.
Gas taxes in CT are high to begin with, so I doubt we'll dip below $2 ever again.

1.82 last week but I haven't noticed in the past few days.

The last time I was at my usual station it was about $1.80. I suspect it may have since gone down. It's good for my personal wallet, but not so great for my local economy, which is largely dependent on the oil & gas industry.

I paid $2.05 this morning. It was actually a really awkward interaction- I asked for $40 of reg, the car was EMPTY, the guy came back & told me he had to stop it because it wouldn't take anymore, I told him it was empty & asked why it wouldn't take anymore, he said he put in 19.5 gallons & it was full. I seriously thought something was wrong, that there was no way $40 would fill it, it was a very pleasant surprise!
