In 8 years at the same firm mine has gone up 250%. Mainly because I became a partner.

In 14 years, my salary has increased by 67%. The past 7 years I've been in a job where we don't get bonuses/increases, only cost of living adjustments. Although this year they are lowering that.

mine has increased 4x, which is kind of sad to me since i entered the workforce 15 years ago. granted for part of that time my salary was higher, but i took a paycut for better work/life balance.

My first real job is still the one I'm in and it's been a couple years and hasn't gone up at all. Woo....

My first job in h.s I got 5.50/hr., that was 15 years ago. my first real job...salaried but I think worked out to about $15 per hr. In 7.5 years I have basically doubled that... Also got 2 advanced degrees so that helps.

Mine has gone up 70% since starting in the workforce 12years ago with a couple years off when I was married the first time.
I'm not in the same field nor do I have any degrees so I'm pleased with my ability to use experience to advance.

Mine is up about 280% from my first job out of college, but has been more than halved from what I was making at a big law firm. However, I'm much happier now and make more than enough to live a comfortable life, so it's all good.

I have tripled my base salary since I started working 8 years ago and on top of that I get a bonus as well, which I did not get at first. The only way to make such a big leap in salary in my industry is to move to a competitor, which I've done twice. You get the biggest bump when you do that, since you're more valuable to them than you are to your current company. It' skind of sad, but it's the reality. I've been at my current employer 4 years and I could easily make 20-30% more if I moved, but I'm treated so well here that I have absolutely no desire to. I'm okay with my 3-5% annual raise and small bonus, I've gotten my base salary high enough now where tha tis acceptable for at least a few more years.

9 years later, I'm still at my first job (well, outside of college). Salary has gone up 3.5x what it was when I started. Definitely one of the reasons I'm sure there!
