The furniture was a joint effort, but he totally let me choose the theme/decor, and never said a word about it!

Free reign! Except when it came to lay out...i did ask his opinion. I actually ran everything by him because I was so excited. He always likes what I do with the house and I don't think he really cared what I did with the nursery as long as it was also functional. Which, of course, it is!

Almost none. I mean, I ASKED his opinion, but pretty much ignored everything he said, or coaxed him into agreeing with me. I did get his approval for the paint colors and bedding and stuff, but he really didn't care that much!

I pretty much get final say, but I like to talk it all through with DH and never go for decorating things around the house that he had an obviously negative reaction too. He's been pretty laid back and whatever I want for nursery though.

His one idea that I think is sweet because it is important to him is that the room is gray, so when we find out the sex, he want to paint the inside of the closet a gender specific paint color

I ran all my ideas past him, and went with the "theme"/feel we did because he showed a preference for it.

I showed him stuff, but he's not super into decor type things. We picked out the crib together, but he's happy to just pick stuff I like

Me & dh have the same taste and he knows I would never go tacky. He kind of hovered and would stop into the nursery every week to see how it was going or to say it looked nice. He put stuff together for me but didn't say much about what I got. I know he likes it because it is chic and minimal. We both like that.
If I walked into the house with a "Cars" or "Sponge-bob" bedspread and lamp, he would have told me to return it asap. That's just the way we are.

Free reign except for the budget... He set some limitations there, which is totally reasonable! haha! He also kind of balked at doing the board and batten treatment, but once he realized how important it was to me and how simple it actually was he caved.

DH was adamant that she have pink paint, but other than that I did and picked out everything.

None...it really didn't matter to him what I picked, especially since we're having a girl. He figured he's let me, my mom and MIL go the girl thing, lol. BUT, he was adamant that I picked a good rated carseat (even though I picked the color). He also has a few rules about what his daughter will not wear, and I tend to agree with him on them, anyways, so it's a non-issue.

However, after I picked things and they rolled in from the baby shower, he liked my Lion King stuff and Finding Nemo bath stuff, cause he liked "having a break from all the girly colors to look at" lol.
