$0!! We share cable with my landlord and he doesn't charge us for it.... and we may "borrow" internet from a neighbor who doesn't know enough to put a password on their wireless...

Our internet is included with trash and something else.
It's $50 a month!

@autumnlove: holy cr@p!
Together for cable and Internet its usually about 80. Every six months or so I call up and tell them I want the latest promotional rate because I can't afford the full price and they always find some deal for us. I think typically they would charge around $140 for what we have.

@chopsuey119: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, I was talking to a Time Warner rep about ways to cut it and the call got disconnected. And I don't have time to call back now!

$45 + tax. We extremely highspeed internet with a 300gig cap. That's really, really cheap in Canada anyway.
We don't have cable.

$180
ETA - it also is bundled with our home phone. We only have the home phone for the security alarm.. we rarely use it.. so it only has the basics

Right now basic cable is included with HOA fees. So we pay $90 for the DVR, HD upgrades, internet and then all the stupid fees we pay.
Going to be like $120 min in the new house.

@autumnlove: totally call!! I usually say that I need to cancel my cable (which I would do if it cost that much) and they usually find some way to make it work.

$0
No cable, and DH's parents pay for our internet because we do work for their business.

@autumnlove: I had TWC and it was $115, then without notice they started charging us $80 more a month. Screw that! When our Dish contract is up we'll go back because they're offering us awesome "Come back!" deals

when we had cable & internet it was $190 also. now we just have a mobile hotspot that has no contract and depending on the month and what we have going on, i buy a $30 or $50 plan.

@pui: That is a good deal! We spend ~$65 a month for internet. No cable.

I have to brag! I got our bill reduced by 80 dollars today. I cancelled our second box, hbo, show time. Then they told me if I switch the account to mr bees name, it would be a new account and qualify for promotions. So it went from $220 to $140!!!! That includes cable, Internet and a landline. In ny, a pretty great deal!!!

We pay $114 for digital cable, internet, and DVR with Time Warner. I've been really happy with them so far. We did get free DVR for a year when we signed up. We'll probably drop it at the end of the year.

I think we pay $65 just for Internet and basic channels. I'm tempted by these Verizon FIOS offers, which are ridiculously low because we already have FIOS coming into the house from the previous owner. I want to call and threaten to cancel but afraid that they won't cut me any deals and end up with no Internet for days.

@Mrs. Bee: THat's an awesome deal for a bundle like that!!
We pay $50 something for cable internet, and I think it's absolutely ridonk. We don't have cable TV so $0 for that. We used to have DSL which was significantly cheaper, but it wasn't reliable. Since I work from home ocassionally, reliable internet is a must. Just wish there was a cheaper, reliable source!

We pay $72 for cable internet and basic (60ish channels) cable. We also have Hulu and Netflix that we can watch through our Roku. (So around $16/month for those two in addition to regular cable).

Wow that sucks, we have Time Warner for internet and we were paying just under $60 for which we felt was ridiculous so we called to cancel and switch to something else and the lady gave us more mb/s and dropped our price to $33 for a year!

$140 p/month and that's after the basic cable and internet that's included in our rent. We have a few premium channels and super speed internet. Then we pay an extra $17 for TiVo service. It's pretty pricey but we love our TV and fancy internet.

We pay $135/month for cable and internet.

@Reese: @pui: this might call for another GTA meetup. We had one last year around this time, it was so fun.

$120.00 for cable and internet, if it were up to me we wouldn't have cable as i never watch it, but that wont fly with DH as he loves watching his sports!
