Charlie usually wakes up around 7:30, so I see him about an hour in the morning (so little!), and then from 5:00 - 7:30pm each night. Then of course all weekend.
How much time do you spend with your child each day?

DD gets up at 6:00 - 6:30 most mornings, and we have about an hour before we have to leave the house. I normally pick her up from daycare around 4:30, and then she's asleep in bed by 7:30. Of course we have her all weekend, too.
When she was really little, I calculated that our nanny got to spend more awake time with her every week than we did. It kinda broke my heart, so I stopped counting the specific hours, and now I just try to make sure I'm spending as much quality time with her as possible. It's all about quality or quantity, right?

I also don't count the hours or I find myself getting very jealous of my husband who is a stay at home daddy. I get up with her in the morning before work but that only gives me about 30 minutes tops and then I take care of her in the evenings before bed for about 3 hours.

Not enough!
I get about an 45min to an hour in the morning. about 30 min of it is spent snuggling and horsing around in bed.
Then I'm usually home by 5:30/6pm and she's in bed by 8.
To about 3 hours a day. It's not nearly enough and I'm so jealous of my husband who is a SAHD!

One hour in the morning and two hours in the evening....and then all day on the weekends. Sometimes it feels like way too little time and sometimes it feels like bedtime will never come.

This totally makes me feel better. I think about the amount of time we spend at work and that our child will be at daycare all day. I guess that's just the way it is unless you stay at home.

I don't see her at all in the morning. I come home for my lunch break, so about 45 minutes then, and then 5 to 6 hours when I get home from work, plus the weekend.

My days are each very different...I'm home with my son all day on 2 weekdays plus weekends. On 2 weekdays I'm with him from 7am-noon, then I go to work and he's in bed before I get home. On the last weekday I see him only between 7-9am. Overall it's a good balance I think, and although I miss him terribly on the short days, it makes me appreciate the long days so much more.

Since I'm on mat leave, I'm with her ALL day. But my husband leaves in the morning before she wakes up and gets about 2-4 hours with her in the evenings (depending on when he makes it home and when she goes to bed).
