This isn't something I kept track of, or that we are recommended to keep track of here. Surely a lot of the weight gain is beyond your control and has to do with the weight of amniotic fluid, placenta, baby, extra blood, etc and NOT necessarily fat? Why keep track unless you started out at an unhealthy weight? I'm genuinely curious.

With LO1 I lost a few pounds early on then started gaining 1 pound a week starting at 10 weeks until 39 weeks (29lbs total).
With LO2 my weight gain was all over the place. I think I lost early on, but then started gaining quickly in the 2nd tri. I ended up gaining about 40lbs total, with most of it in the 2nd tri.

I'm gaining the bulk (hopefully!!) of my weight in 2nd trimester.
Just past 27 weeks and I'm +22 lbs. The bulk of which I gained in the 2nd, I think I was up maybe a few lbs in the first trimester.

I'm still up 7 lbs at 18+2. I think the weight will start piling on soon!

I gained 5 lbs in my first trimester. My boobs got huge and I feel 1-2 lbs has to be just in the boobs. TBD for the next two trimesters.

I didn't gain any weight in the first trimester with either of my pregnancies. With my first I gained 15-ish lb in the last two. All in 5-10lb spurts and I'm on track to gain about that with #2.

@miramira: agree with this! i know how much i've gained but it is more important (to me) to eat healthy and stay active. i am a firm believer that if you are eating right and you are staying active your body will gain what it needs to gain to sustain mama/baby!
