@Cherrybee: yeah thought I was gonna o on Sunday but that didn't happen... So if I'm O'ing later than I thought that could be why I always get BFP's? Still I wish I was O now or it can wait till Friday when I see DH lol... Glad ur cycle is looking more normal
@chibee: let me know when u get a positive! Maybe I'll get one then too! It will be interesting to see my temp tomorrow though.

@mrs squirreld: a positive finally! this is a wondfo and I will confirm with digital later, but this is what my positive looked like last month so I'm 99% sure that I will get a smiley later on! So if i got a positive.. that means yours is definitely on the way. here's a pic!

@Chibee: Yay!!!!! Go O!!!! Get BDIng immediately!!!
So, I joined the gym tonight! I actually did it!!! And, even better, DH did too! I'm so proud of him! Exercise will be so good for his condition but it will be so hard for him, getting going.....
pear / 1974 posts
@Cherrybee: yes! i'm a big advocate of exercise to de-stress and de-clutter your mind. It will feel so good!!

@chibee: YAY! Time to get busy...hehe.
@cherrybee: DH and I need to get to the gym SO BAD. We could both afford to lose some weight but usually after work we're just too exhausted to get off the couch. Congrats to you guys for doing it!

@chibee: yaaaaay!!! Get to it
I'm kinda hoping I don't get mine til Friday now.... Just so we can BD again....

@Cherrybee: I have put on weight since TTC... Depression about BFN = weight gain. I need to get off my arse & stop finding comfort in chocolate.

finally handed in my notice at work... phew that was terrifying. Last day 21st December...

@mrssquirreld: how exciting! I'm envious that you won't have to go to work after Christmas like the rest of us.

Positive??? Last night was definatley neg and this evening was definatley neg but this one was from lunch time today.... It was weird its like the ink smudged.. But it's definatley the darkest one I've had. But I thought you got like two days of positives??!!

@MrssquirrelD: Everyone's different. Some people have long surges, some people have short surges, some people's vary from month to month. You might see the start of a surge at one time then, later, your urine is more diluted so it doesn't show up. That pic doesn't quite look like a positive to me, anyway, it looks like it gearing up to one....
nectarine / 2522 posts
@Cherrybee: well i hope its just gearing up and I get a positive tomorrow cause DH is home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! all this charting and POAS is very confusing!!
papaya / 10570 posts
@MrssquirrelD: It is, isn't it!! The first month, I thought I had it down then, last month, it was completely confusing!! This month is looking more normal again so fingers crossed last time was just a blip!
nectarine / 2522 posts
@Cherrybee: yay go this month..... my thought is atleast i know i O ALOT later than i predicted before this month...so i guess thats a reason why i wasn't getting pregnant!
papaya / 10570 posts
@MrssquirrelD: Maybe.... although AF was never a whole week late before was she'? It's weird that you had regular 28 cycles before TTC then, it seems, they are getting longer and longer and you are Oing later and later! Maybe there's something in this stress-delaying-O thing after all? Either way, you'll know when it happens this time and it's looking like your DH being away wont matter after all!!!!
nectarine / 2522 posts
@Cherrybee: true true... yeah the whole cycle thing is weird.. and who knows what the meds i started are adding to the mix... pffft bodies eh?!
pear / 1974 posts
@mrssquirreld: it looks VERY close! Not sure why it's smudged but.. keep testing. Also, what I learned my last cycle was that I actually ovulated on the first day of my 2 positive opks, so for me it was more important to BD before the opks turned positive, so maybe it will be similar for you and you will be ok even if DH has to leave for the weekend!

So I went to my OB/GYN yesterday and for the most part she thinks DH is the problem, so he's going in Monday for his SA, and depending on his results we'll either go to IUI or I'll do some tests, and HSG and Clomid. I have to say that feeling like I'm more in control of this process has me feeling amazing. While I hope none of you have to get to that point, it was the perfect birthday present for me yesterday. I would recommend, if you guys go like 4 cycles without getting pregnant, send your DH in for an SA before you keep trying. My OB was surprised we had waited so long to do it.
@Mrssquirreld: Yes, so excited to see a positive opk from you. How is it today?
@Chibee: It looks like you have a stairstep chart like me so far!
@Cherrybee: I meant to say the other day that there was no reason for you to apologize on the other thread. We all deserve to say what we think and if someone doesn't get your humor then they should at least ask before freaking out. I'm proud of you saying what you felt. I always do the same. On another note, are you just dying to o?!
@Strawberrybee: It appears you may be out from your chart. I'm sorry hun! It was looking so good. Here's to making a baby next time!

@marionberry: Yep! I haven't had a chance to post about it yet, but I said to DH this morning "Well, there's the temp drop I've been expecting!" Got cramps today so expecting AF any moment now. It's kind of nice that my body seems to be so regular with it.
I'm glad that you were able to start investigating things and get a plan together!
papaya / 10570 posts
@strawberrybee: Aaw, I'm so sorry hun. That sucks so much.
@marionberry: I'm so glad your appointment went well and you're feeling better about the whole thing. How's your DH taking the news that it might be his swimmers that are the problem? Men can be quite touchy about that, can't they?
Yeah... I kinda did need to apologise because what I said was quite offensive. Of course I didn't mean it like that but I never, ever want to cause upset by my words....
... even though I was shocked at the time and even more shocked a few posts later....
Maybe that's what this has all been about for me? Maybe that's the "Gods timing is perfect" you were talking about. Maybe I needed to experience what I did so that I would have compassion and understanding and be a better person. I can be really thick headed sometimes!
In other news - yes, I'm looking forward to Oing! I have a feeling it will be more CD14 this time, I don't know why! I just feel more normal, somehow... (and my skin is awful! Welcome back hormones!) I'm going to go to a Yoga class next week so that I'm super-zen!

I had my misery moments last week (when I didn't have any symptoms and knew I should be feeling SOMETHING...sore boobs, whathaveyou). Now I'm just glad my body is still cycling properly, and eager to try next cycle. Cycle 5...sigh.
Meanwhile, my mother just told me that neither her family nor my dad's had fertility issues (in fact, exactly the opposite), so if we do have problems chances are it isn't me, but my DH. Now, he has two children from a previous marriage so I know his swimmers worked at one point, but it has been ten years.
I don't know. I'm not quite ready to go down that road yet! My Dr said people usually take 8 cycles (I'm sure that's non-charting), so that's what I have in my head.
papaya / 10570 posts
@Strawberrybee: Cycle 5 Hugs.
Right, well if we're going to be cycle twins, I want this to be your cycle Missus! Although, I'm angling for an earlier (more normal) ovulation date - this is, after all, my first normal cycle (as my first was straight from BCP and my second was post m/c). Fingers crossed!!!

@Cherrybee: I know! I told my husband that he has to give me a really GOOD birthday present...November is my month. I had a feeling when I started this road that it wasn't going to be easy/quick, and my feelings usually pan out.
Good luck with your cycle, fellow fruit! Hopefully your body is back on track and ready to go!
pomelo / 5041 posts
@strawberrybee: You sound like me. DH has had two kids, but the last was 14 years ago, and he was diagnosed with diabetes after that. So that's why they think it's him. And hey, this is my eighth cycle, so I hope your dr is right!
@cherrybee: He actually handled it really well. At first he was kind of stunned, because his own doctor had never said his diabetes could be a problem and he felt kind of guilty, but then it really motivated him. He wanted to do everything he could so that we can get a baby, and we got his SA ready to go for Monday.

@marionberry: was it your birthday? happy birthday!! I'm glad you feel better about the dr's appt, it's always good to know what's going on, and i'm glad you have a definite plan for the future as far as ttc! i'm hoping my temp goes up a little bit tomorrow so i get my CH! i put in a fake high temp tomorrow and it puts me at O'ing CD20 which would be really good timing for everything so here's to hoping!

I'm on the road so don't have time to catch up on the last few posts but I just wanted to say positive positive positive!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol definitely positive opk!!!

@chibee: Yes it was my birthday. Thank you! And congrats on your crosshairs!! TWW here you come (well minus 3 days).
@mrssquirreld: Congrats on your positive OPK! I saw your up temperature so you're bound to have crosshairs in a day or two as well. So exciting! TWW for you too!
To all, I was feeling so good Thursday because of my doctor's appointment and getting DH's SA scheduled for Monday, but then Friday my friend told me she's pregnant (a NTNP) and I'm really happy for her, but it killed me. I bawled for almost an hour when she told me, and later that afternoon when I could talk to DH about it I bawled for about 30 minutes again. I have another friend who has a possibility of being pregnant next week and I'm just not sure how to handle learning people are pregnant over and over, but I'm strong and I'll make it through. It's just been killer hard. I'm trying to enjoy life and stop thinking about it, so today we're going to a huge antique show and I am so excited!
pomelo / 5073 posts
@marionberry: that's a good idea and attitude...enjoy life, go have fun, enjoy your husband. I'm doing the same this week. You just have to remember, their success doesn't mean your failure. it's going to happen for us. I know it!

@mrssquirreld: thanks! my husband's parents are spending the night here w/their doggies since they are under mandatory evacuation order and we are having a great time! they brought over a bunch of food and honestly I'm having a great weekend bc there is no work for me tomorrow. i should probably be more concerned, but i'm more relaxed than i have been in days haha
pomelo / 5041 posts
@chibee: I'd be looking at it as a vacation from work too. How cool that you can spend it with family. I've never been through a hurricane since I live on the west coast. It'd be kind of cool for me lol.
@mrssquirreld: Thanks! It was a great 27th birthday.
nectarine / 2522 posts
@marionberry: welcome to the 27 club... It's a pretty awesome age! Lol
@chibee: glad you are feeling relaxed!!! No point stressing about Mother Nature she will do as she wants anyway!!! Yay for your cross hairs! Can't wait to see mine! I'm pretty sure I'm 2dpo... Too tired to BD anymore anyways! We had such a busy weekend... But on the plus side my office maker over is almost completed!!
nectarine / 2522 posts
@marionberry: totally will post some when finished although you can not judge me on how messy it was before... Lol

Hi everyone! I'm on the tube - the last 40min of my 3hr commute when I have to go into our London office. Hope you are all ok, especially those of you who are facing possible hurricanes. Im having a weird month - I kinda feel over it, you know? I can't be bothered to pee on sticks or even BD.... Very strange.
nectarine / 2522 posts
@Cherrybee: I hear ya!! I'm really over BD - never thought I'd say that. It's just all soooooo emotionally draining. 3 hrs to work! Holy moly that's insane! Do u do that offten??
