@chibee: yaaaay we are complete again

I'm so so sorry for your Inlaws losing their house and for the destruction of your beautiful town.... I was just in the area back in may and its so hard to believe what I am seeing on the news. I'm just so glad u are safe. Xo

@cherrybee: the fertility monitor helps that because at least I can narrow the days down, but I have faith you'll be pregnant again soon, even if you miss one of the good days.

we have power!! i've said this before, and i'm sorry i am not good at tagging, but thank you so much for the concern you guys have shown me, i was so touched to read all the posts when i finally got on today! I just got back from getting some laundry done and getting a break from sitting in the dark at DH's brothers and the power was on! I am so sad for my inlaw's house, their beautiful house that they lived in for over 30 years, but I'm hoping they rebuild better and bigger!

As for my tww, and the whole ttc deal, if it didn't take this cycle, i think i might put it on hold for a bit, since the inlaws are moving in and we will be helping them clean out or whatever it is they will be doing with the house. it'll be pretty hard to put my baby fever on hold but we'll just see what happens i guess. seriously, you just never know what life can throw at you. i'm cheering on for everyone else!!

@chibee: Check out your chart!! It looks really promising! Wouldn't it be just typical for you to decide to halt TTC and then find out you're pregnant anyway!!! And yay for power!

@marionberry: We BD'd - finally!! Phew! And my temp is still down so we haven't missed it. I've had EWCM for a few days but neg OPKs - I wonder when it'll be?! I've just gotta hope I O sooner than the last two cycles, because I'm away for work the end of next week - CD20/21 - which is when I've O'd previously. I'm not even that worried if it doesn't happen for us this cycle, it's the principle - I don't want to miss the fertile window through lack of effort! Lol.

    pear / 1974 posts

@cherrybee: unfortunately, my charts can play tricks on me. last cycle, my temp jumped 12 dpo and stayed high at 13 dpo and i got hopeful for no reason. At least i'm not jumping to test this cycle! I think also, a lot of stress of ttc is trying NOT to miss the fertile window. the tww is stressful, but it's juts waiting - for me, the hardest part was to time everything right, so i know what you mean!

  6. Cherrybee

    papaya / 10570 posts

@chibee: Your body seems to do the same thing mine does! It gives you EWCM and looks like it's going to O around CD14, then it teases you for a whole week, until it gives you +OPKs and eventually O's around CD21. So you spend an entire week convinced your OPKs are faulty and you're going to miss Oing!!!

    @chibee: Great chart!
@mrssquirreld: You're a slow riser, but your chart looks really good! I sure wish you'd charted earlier so we knew if this was normal for you or not.
@cherrybee: DH and I have been bd'ing for the last two days and almost didn't tonight, but we decided to just for fun and now I have a positive OPK, so I'm SO glad we did! 2 more days to go but perfect timing for us. I hope you get the same kind of perfect timing!

@marionberry: sooo frustrating... although its kinda hard to compare when mine's in Celsius.. i wish i could convert it to compare!.. I feel terrible today, unbelievably tired and blerk.... thanks to my husband for passing on his "man flu"

@mrssquirrelD: I don't think AF will be due for you until Friday at the very earliest. I think you just O'd late and your cycle will be longer this time around. I'm keeping everything crossed for you, lady, I'd LOVE you to get your BFP this time!

@Cherrybee: if im not pregnant- i'm having serious PMS... I just cried at a dog getting evicted off big brother... lol

@Mrs squirreld: A dog??! On Big Brother?!!! Oh, who am I kidding, a dog won Britain's Got Talent last year.... I think it's safe to say that Britain is scraping the barrel for talent!

    nectarine / 2522 posts

@Cherrybee: haha yeah a dog... it was from a shelter and then the housemates got to pick a new home for it at the end. Beautiful dog... ( better than the housemates!) LOL

    pear / 1974 posts

@cherrybee: yes my body tricks me every cycle, i now know better! i'm a late o'er, and i just trust those OPKs.

@mrssquirreld: agree with @cherrybee, i wouldn't think AF will come tomorrow. my first unexpectedly long cycle, i was terrified of my LP length and I ended up having a 39 day cycle, so i think you are going to be ok!

So I caved, in the middle of the chaos that is Sandy in my town, and tested yesterday at 10 dpo and today at 11 dpo with Wondfo. I discarded yesterdays right away with a BFN but somehow picked it up later and i was convinced i saw the faintest of faint something and obsessed over it for HOURS, i mean HOURS. this morning, a stark white BFN so far with FMU. i'm a little bummed out! bc if i dont get a BFP this cycle, i dont know that we will continue to ttc for quite a while...

  18. Mrs squirreld

    nectarine / 2522 posts

@chibee: urgh obsessing over BFN is the worst... i swear sometimes I hallucinate a line!! HUGS to you! but its not over yet! thats still early!

  19. chibee

    pear / 1974 posts

@mrssquirreld: i mean you should have seen how obsessed i was over something that probably wasn't there - and today the test is for sure stark white. i looked at it maybe 100 times, took pictures, held it up to various lights, etc etc. i'm getting kind of tired of this process, the work, the expectations, the let down - how is this so easy for some people?

  20. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@mrssquirreld: Amazing chart gf! I'm sure you won't get your period for a while since you o'd late. It really looks good for you right now! And PMS symptoms are often pregnancy symptoms...
@chibee: Have faith. 11dpo is still pretty early. Have you been able to temp at all (I saw it wasn't updated on FF) to see how your chart may be doing? Don't let TTC end because your in-laws have moved in. You may not get as much time to focus on in it, but you'll still be able to BD at night, and having something else to think about may be very healthy and lucky for you.

  21. chibee

    pear / 1974 posts

@marionberry: i would love to continue but i think it's more DH - he thinks there is just too much going on right now and he's right. we have doubled the number of pets & occupants in our house, we are working every day to get trash out of his parents, the family business (appliance store, which wasn't affected by the storm at all thank god!) has been ridiculously busy since everyone lost their appliances - it just seems like things aren't meant to be if it didn't happen this cycle. it makes me sad. how are you by the way? sorry to ramble!

  22. chibee

    pear / 1974 posts

@marionberry: forgot to mention, i haven't been temping bc my waking times have been so wacky the past couple of days, i'm back to work tomorrow finally so i'll check to see what the temp tells me.

@chibee: I'm good, thanks. Just glad to hear you have power! I get the busy life thing. Just take it month by month. We just finished our BD marathon so now its onto the TWW.

  24. Cherrybee

    papaya / 10570 posts

I think I had a positive OPK tonight!!! I think (darn cheap test strips!! Both lines were faint!!). It's still exciting though - especially since I have to go away for work Thurs/Fri, I really wanted to be into the TWW by then!

    nectarine / 2522 posts

My temp dropped a bit.. Not below the line but enough to sink me in to a terrible mood that there seems no escape from. It's so unfair. I don't know how I'm going to get through this month.

  27. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@mrssquirreld: It could be an implantation drop which would be awesome...so just wait and see what happens over the next few days. One temp means nothing but it's all about the trend.

@marionberry: I know it's hard to know when my cycles are now all over the place- what happened to my body. I just feel like giving up.

  31. Mrs squirreld

    nectarine / 2522 posts

@marionberry: thankyou. It's just so hard, I just saw on the news a story about a newborn being dumped in a shopping centre carpark because they didn't want him. how can these people have children yet there is people like us out there that are dying to have babies and haven't/can't. Rant over. Just sad.

  32. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@Mrs squirreld: I can't tell you how many times DH and I (and many others on HB) have had that same rant. It seems very unfair that God would choose to do that to babies and yet not allow families who really really want them to have them. But in due time, I know that we'll all end up with babies one way or another, so I just have to try to stay positive.

  33. Mrs squirreld

    nectarine / 2522 posts

@marionberry: I respect those who put their faith in god, but I simply cannot do that.
We just have to have some sort of faith that it will happen because without that what else is there!! I'm just so grateful for all you ladies. You are what pulls me through every month! Strength in numbers right?

  34. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@Mrs squirreld: Yep HB is a lifesend and so are all of you.

So now I'm gonna need a new project to work on now that my office is beautiful.... Hmmmm maybe some Christmas projects... Is it too early for that?! I just ordered my Xmas cards!!

  36. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@Mrs squirreld: Nope. Not at all! We've been buying Christmas things for the past week and even picked up our Christmas cards today. Christmas is my favorite time of the year and it lasts pretty much a month for us so I just can't wait. It sounds bad, but I look forward to Thanksgiving ending so I can bake and decorate.

    nectarine / 2522 posts

@marionberry: I love Xmas too!!! I'm thinking my next project should be making a skirt for my Xmas tree ( like the one on my Pinterest) can't wait to cook and decorate... Although I think DH will make me wait to 1st December!! I did hear Christmas carols in the supermarket this morning! I also can't wait to make a wreath for the door!!! Woohoo u got me excited! Lol

    pomelo / 5041 posts

My little brothers were fundraising by selling wreaths so we just ordered one. If it's one of those ruffle tree skirts, do you want to make me one too? lol. I want to make a bunch of pinterest goodies for the holidays...and I want to make some homemade Christmas gifts too.

  39. Mrs squirreld

    nectarine / 2522 posts

@marionberry: A wreath fundraiser is a fantastic idea! Never seen them here... Yep _ i'm gonna have a go at the ruffle skirt. not sure it will look as good as the picture!! lol
I love homemade goodies for xmas! I will totally do some too!

@Mrs squirreld: Is that me or did I spot a possible implantation dip on your chart missus???! 8DPO is perfect timing for implantation!!

In other news, I had a really positive OPK today! Hurrah!! AND DH voluteered himself for some additional BDing last night on the basis that I "was all eggy" as he put it! Lol. Phew. Just need to keep it up for another couple of nights and see that temp rise before I go away for work Thursday.

@marionberry: How's the TWW treating you this time round?
