@chibee: Hello old friend!!!! How are you??? How's the in-law's house coming along? Is everything back to normal for you guys now post-storm?? How was your TTC break?? Do you feel better for the rest?

  2. chibee

@Cherrybee: hi there!! I'm great! We are going on a little vacation to the west coast starting this Sat (Arizona-Vegas-LA!) and I am so excited! The in-laws' house is coming along very nice - as devastating as this storm was for them, they will end up with a beautiful, updated, brand spanking new house when all is said and done, and i think they will be ready to go back in maybe a month or so. The break was MUCH needed - we got to reset ourselves, get back to somewhat of a norm, and I think we are both now ready to give this a real try for the first time since we started "trying".

how are you?? How's the pregnancy treating you?

@chibee: You're coming my way! I hope the weather is nice for you while you're out on the West Coast. Arizona is your best bet for that. I love all of those areas and hope you do too.

@chibee: Oh, I'm so glad you're both feeling better and it's great news that you're ready to try again. I'm happy to hear that the house is coming along nicely. After all they've been through, they deserve a nice new home to enjoy. It's the least karma could offer them!!

I'm good, thanks. I'm 18 weeks now and starting to feel more like myself again, thank goodness. We find out if we're having a boy or a girl in 2 weeks!! I can't wait!!

@marionberry: I absolutely love LA - i've been there several times but never to Vegas!

@Cherrybee: i can't believe you are 18 weeks already! seems like just a few days ago when we were both griping about OPKs and whatnot!!!! Just saw your bump pics and you are looking lovely!

@chibee: I'm the size of a house!!! But thanks - it's nice to hear!! It has really dragged for me!!! That's what happens when you count down to something!! Just think, it'll be you soon!!

@Cherrybee: You are not as big as a house! I can't wait to hear what you're having - do you have a preference? For me, I really want a girl, but DH really REALLY wants a boy!

  8. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@Cherrybee: It has really dragged for me too, so I'm sure I'll be saying the same thing when I get where you are.

@Chibee: We both really want a girl. I was surprised DH didn't want a boy, but he says he likes spoiling girls.

  9. Cherrybee

    papaya / 10570 posts

@marionberry: @chibee: I have always wanted a girl and DH wants a boy - but of late I've starting thinking that I might like a boy, myself..... the clothes are just so cute!! Besides, I hear that boys are easier??

  10. chibee

    pear / 1974 posts

@Cherrybee: my mother in law keeps telling me how DH was absolutely a HORROR when he was a baby so that makes me think we are doomed either way, since my mom has made crystal clear i was a nightmare baby as well haha

@marionberry: DH has flat out told me he has no idea how to "handle" girls and he would prefer a boy haha

  18. chibee

    pear / 1974 posts

@Cherrybee: 12/13 dpo right now, i stopped temping around O time because i was on vacation so i'm not exactly too sure when i o'd and didn't temp in the tww. So on a whim i took my temp this morning and it was very, very low, like below what my cover lines have been in the past, so I'm pretty sure AF is coming today or tomorrow.

@chibee: I'm sorry about AF. Those BFNs really SUCK! But I'm so glad you're going to see a doctor and get help. That's what worked for us! I really hope you find your answers so you can stop seeing stark white sticks.

HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I'm back in the real world and at a computer again!!! woohoo! well not woohoo for my holiday being over. But we had an amazing time just what the doctor ordered
@chibee: I am soooooooo glad to see you back and am going to be secretly stalking you on the boards, can't WAIT to see you get a BFP, keep going strong and try not too stress too much. Remember I got drunk and pregnant on a 61 day cycle!! Anything can happen!
@Cherrybee: I'm so happy to see you are having a beautiful girl!! and I agree you are NOT the size of a house!

Missed this thread so much! We must visit more often

@marionberry: how are you? Nice to see this thread popping up again! I'm waiting to O, which is painful bc of my irregular cycles, I'd rather go through a TWW than this wait for the ever elusive O. My dr's appt is next Tuesday, I'm kind of hoping the timing is right so i'll be in my LP and she can take my blood and see what's up. This weekend I had to go shopping for my SIL's baby shower gift, that was a little rough, and I was kind of bummed out the whole weekend. This is so frustrating and I'm kind of not doing well with it still but I'm hoping there's a light at the end of the tunnel! How are you feeling these days??

  24. mlm2934

@marionberry: I'm sitting on the sidelines raring to get back in the game! Haha! Emotionally pretty good, although I have sad moments. Springtime is such a mood booster - glad winter is behind us!!

I keep stalking the threads hoping to see more September baby bumps!!!! Cheering ya on!

  25. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@chibee: That has to be hard! I know how hard it would be on me. I really hope that you are in your TWW when you're at the doctor because it would be good to at least do the progesterone test to confirm ovulation. Also, then you can do all of your cd3 testing right afterward. I really hope your doctor figures out what's causing your long cycles.

@runnerd: I can't wait for you to be back in the game! They say that more than one MC is very unlikely in a row, so I'm sure it'll be a sticky one. I'm glad Spring is making you feel better. I miss chatting with ya on the September thread but I'm always here if you need to vent. My bump is just finally making itself visible to the workplace. I'll have to post a bump pic soon.

AFM, I think I'm finally starting to feel the baby move around and on Thursday we should find out the sex, fx. I'm really excited for that. I've been somewhat sick lately between stomach probs and diarrhea (sorry if TMI) so seeing the baby hopefully all healthy should make me stop worrying. I definitely have not lost the worry in this pregnancy. Stupid infertility.

  26. chibee

    pear / 1974 posts

@marionberry: i can't wait to find out what you're having!! i can understand the worry, i already worry for my pregnancy and i'm not even there yet!

@runnerd: i'm excited for you to jump back in and i agree, winter was such a bummer, and i'm glad spring is here. i feel like i wasted this entire past fall/winter going back and forth from being obsessed and then depressed about babies.

Just got a +opk tonight finally! it is so hard for me to predict when i will O - the only saving grace for my awful cycles is that i get a lot of EWCM in the days leading up to O, but this cycle around I really didn't even get as much as i get usually so this positive OPK is kind of a surprise! i really REALLY hope this is it for me, it is getting so exhausting.

  27. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@chibee: I really really hope this is your month!! Getting a positive opk early is certainly a good sign! I'll be keeping my fx for you!

@chibee: Hooray for a + OPK!!! Baby dust to you!!

  29. chibee

    pear / 1974 posts

@marionberry: Thank you! This cycle has felt a little different from others, maybe it's because I'm back to working out regularly and drinking a ton of water?? Haha I am crazy (duh) and studied my charts from September on - I noticed that I had regular cycles Sept & Oct (o day 19 and 20) and also noticed that was the last time I really truly stuck to an exercise routine and eating right and drinking at least 2 liters of water a day (two big fiji bottles) so I thought, maybe that will make a difference. and so far, I'm on track to O a little earlier than most, so maybe that did make a difference? i'll try anything!!

@pui: Thank you! You have a history of long cycles too right? Around what day do you normally o? For us long-cyclers, waiting to O is sooooo much more painful than the TWW!

  30. pui

    bananas / 9899 posts

@chibee: I have no idea when I "normally" O lol. I stopped the pill 6 cycles ago and I had 4 "normal" cycles (28-31 days) but my last two cycles were long (41 & 51 days). This is my first cycle actually charting, so I'm hoping to get a sense of whether I am even ovulating at all...

I really hope that maybe I am still coming off BCP's effects and that is why my cycles are so wonky...

  31. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@chibee: I'm glad you've found something that seems to be helping shorten your cycles. If there's one thing I've learned it's that it takes all of your hormones and everything to all be perfect in order to get pregnant. Perhaps for you, all of this exercise and water is helping to create your body's "perfect". So excited and hoping this month is your month!

    @chibee: @marionberry: @runnerd: @Mrs squirreld:

Hey Ladies!! Nice to see this thread in action again! How is everyone?

Mrs Squirrell and Marionberry - how are your pregnancies progressing? I don't read your due date thread because it's so busy and moves so quickly so i have no idea how you're getting on!! You must both be into your second trimesters now! I'm so excited to hear what you are having, Marionberry! Mrs Squirrell, are you going to find out?

Runnerd - how are you poppet? Okay I hope? Are you trying again now or do you need to/want to wait for a while?

Chibee - how's the ovulating going??

As for me, I'm good. I'm 24 weeks today - hurray for V Day!! I'm getting to the point where things are a little more difficult - like putting my tights on in the morning, reaching down to my feet is a nightmare!! We have finally got the nursery decorated, which I'm so relieved about! We just need to get some furniture in there, now. I have hardly bought anything - I've got 10 little vests, one sleeper, a nose frida and a thermometer! Oh and ten baby books! That's IT! 16 weeks to go, I need to get myself sorted!!!

@pui: Oooh, charting is great! I loved it!! Are you on FF?

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@Cherrybee: I'm so glad you got the nursery ready to go. I think last I had read you were struggling to get it painted, so that's great! And you do have time to get some purchases made, but I'd get on it in case that little bundle of joy decides to pop out early. I can't imagine how it's going to be touching my toes eventually. It's hard enough to lace up shoes now haha. Flip flops it is! AFM, my pregnancy has been pretty good so far, 17weeks tomorrow. Can't complain much.

  36. Cherrybee

    papaya / 10570 posts

@marionberry: 17 weeks already!!!! Wow!! Have you got a bump yet?

I took flip flops on holiday - the same ones woven leather I wore all last summer - but my feet swelled up and the flip flops rubbed badly, scraping all the skin off on the first evening in Egypt! It was a bit of a nightmare!! I had to wear plasters between my toes for the rest of the holiday - my feet were so sore! So I'm not sure what I'm going to do over the summer when I'm huge and persistently swollen!!!

@pui: Brilliant! I love charts! I'm going to stalk yours!!

  37. chibee

    pear / 1974 posts

@marionberry: i hope so! at least it won't be another almost 50-day cycle!
@Cherrybee: I totally read all your posts in what I think your accent sounds like haha is that weird? I cannot believe you're 24 weeks already, how does time go by so fast?
@pui: I've been off BCP just shy of one year now, still working on that regulating business, hormones are a bitch!

  38. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@Cherrybee: I have a bump but it's still fairly small (although it grows during the day and is much larger at night). I haven't felt comfortable really posting my picture on here yet, but I'm sure I will soon. Your poor feet! That is horrible. Can you wear flip flops that are plastic? I wear Old Navy flip flops constantly and have never had an issue with them.
@Chibee: Yep it's a great accomplishment! I'd die if I had to deal with 50-day cycles, so you're a trooper!

  39. chibee

    pear / 1974 posts

@marionberry: Definitely going to be a less than 40-day cycle this time, can I just say how excited I am about that, even if this doesn't result in a BFP? So my dr's appt is coming up, and I'll be in the TWW, and I'm to go for a pap and to chat about my irregular cycles. This sounds pretty stupid, but I wish it had been earlier because I don't want anything up in there to disturb the environment to give myself maximum chance of a BFP if that makes sense lol but a pap shouldn't be a bad thing during the tww right? i'm just talking to myself now, i've had too much coffee today! How are you today??

@Cherrybee: oh no! that sounds so painful - but it might be the type of flip flops you are wearing, hopefully you can find another material that won't irritate your feet so bad. I love Havianas - they are very soft and comfy - can you get those around you anywhere? Also... what is V-day??

  40. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@chibee: Your pap shouldn't affect anything at all. They do them on pregnant ladies early in their cycles all the time. Don't worry! I'm good. Dying from excitement and just waiting for the hours to pass until our appointment.
