I just had a 30 minute argument with a co-worker about parenting. Namely, he has given his 4 month old a hot dog (said she just ate bun), scooby snacks, a chocolate covered strawberry, and a lollipop yesterday on Halloween. He didn't seem to care when I explained why I didn't think he should do that- and I was about to let everything go because it's not my business, but then he said that sometimes if his daughter is fussy in her carseat THEY TAKE HER OUT AND HOLD HER!
No amount me saying it's about safety (they think that if god is going to take her, he will). He didn't even care that it was against the law, he said he didn't believe in that law. I just don't understand how he (and his baby's mother) think that they are doing the right thing!
I'm really just flabbergasted and sad for that little girl.
