I had to go turn in forms to my HR department for LO's insurance, and since DH is home for a half-day, I left LO with him and went out! By myself! EEE!! As much as I'm loving being a mom, it felt so nice to put on real clothes, get out in my car, and blast some baby-inappropriate music (Tool :p), even if it was just for an hour!
When was the first time you left your LO and went out on your own? My LO is 2 weeks!

I think I escaped to Target around 2.5 weeks.

Good for you! It's nice to get out. I had to go to the DMV to get my car inspected when LO was 2 1/2 weeks old. My mom watched him. Probably the first time in my life I enjoyed going to the DMV, lol.

Eeek. I still have left the house completely by myself! I went out with my sister last week and that was the first time I went anywhere without LO and she's 13 weeks!!
