So trying not to symptom spot, but since I suck at it, I wanted to update you all. I was on clomid this cycle for the clomid challenge and I had my HSG two weeks ago, but, last week, I saw a tiny spot of blood (a few days after we BD)! Never seen spotting before. (Though, maybe it was spotting from the recent HSG.) Also, for the past 3-4 days I've had cramping/ stomach pains. Sometimes it's cramps but sometimes I think it's just a bad stomach ache. I had to take something each morning to help with the pain. I am a little bloated today, too.
I was out on vacation last week and we went to see a baseball game in Chicago and it was really cold! I was nauseous the day after the game. I thought I was getting sick. (DH ended up getting sick, as well, with a fever and chills. So it could be that all these symptoms are me getting sick of some sort.)
Also, I didn't take any OP tests with me (should have, but I was looking forward to IVF next month and didn't think we would be able to try this month), so I'm actually not positive on when I ovulated. Oh, the clomid might have made me ovulate earlier. Also, maybe some of these symptoms are side affects of the clomid.
Ah, I don't know. I have no idea what is going on. Maybe it's something or maybe it's nothing. Seeing the RE next week to discuss our first IVF cycle next month. Guess it would be cool if this cycle was it, but we have IVF coming up, so hopefully, I won't be too disappointed if I get a BFN.
I have a bad memory, so I'm writing this comment, so I can remember it.

@bluestriped bee: exciting! that would be fabulous if you got a pleasant surprise before going through with the IVF, but if it doesn't work out, it's nice to know you have that to look forward to!
i was still kind of bloated and feeling pressure, thought it was left over from the horrible HSG (i'm still recovering mentally!), but i got a positive OPK today, so maybe that was part of my cramping! i was a little shocked because it's much earlier than i expected (not early in a bad way, CD16, but on an unmedicated cycle, that's very early for me!) today after going to the bathroom i wiped and was like, 'holy CM, batman!' hahahahaha, so next time i had to pee i took one even though it was morning and BAM! super positive! i told mr. bird he's not doing his SA today because i have another use for his sample
(gross, i know, sorry!). maybe friday when i have my 3D ultrasound of my uterus, i can ask her to see if i did O. i'm kind of excited to see my insides in a less painful way this time 
hopefully they can figure out if i have a giant fibroid blocking one of my tubes and smooshing my uterus or if it's a malformation. not sure which i'm hoping for either way, we'll DTD with little hope of it turing into anything awesome, but maybe it'll be a little miracle! -

This thread doesn't move as quickly as the POAS 6+ thread and it has a different vibe (not sure why--just seems that way), but it's my favorite hang out spot on the HB.

Quick update: RE loves to hear that I got a BFP he was literally grinning ear to ear....I get results tomorrow ;)))))

Oh my gosh!! I'm SO sorry I pretty much missed this check-in. And I'm semi-embarrassed to admit that I'm currently addicted to "Melissa and Joey". I'm addicted to their sexual tension and his amazing good looks! ha!
Even though we're on the waiting list to adopt, DH has a SA on Friday as the final test after our year of working with the new RE. We obviously don't anticipate positive news, otherwise we wouldn't have moved on with adoption! But, I guess it will be good to know for sure if we are even in the IUI range of #s.
