For my sisters baby shower, am I allowed to invite my best friend as a guest? I would ask my sister of course but would this be a weird thing to ask?

Just out of curiosity, why would you want your bf there? But yeah, if your bf is close enough to your sister, then sure, ask you sister. Did your sister give you an invite list, or is it all up to you?

I don't see why you can't invite your friend! I'm sure your sister won't have a problem with it as long as your friend brings a gift.

If she's not friends with your sister I actually think it would be a little weird. I know becoming an auntie is a big deal to you but the shower is about your sister becoming a mom.

I guess it depends on your sister's personality, I would be perfectly fine if my sister threw me a baby shower and invited her best friend.

@chopsuey119: lol, I agree! I wouldn't care really who came if they brought a gift. Well - that sounded selfish. HAHAH. but you get my gist. I'd feel bad if my mom had to pay for extra people who were just there to kind of sit, if that makes sense. Not doing a good job of un-selfish-ing my comment, but..oh well.
