If it weren't for September 11th, I never would have met Mr. Bee. I posted about a business problem directly related to 9/11 on my personal blog and Mr. Bee contacted me with some advice. He never would have contacted me otherwise!
6 months later I was in New York to visit some friends and we met up because I wanted to thank him (we'd had no contact in the interim). And the rest is history!

My ex-boyfriend from London. He was an Aussie and if I hadn't dated him, I would never have moved to Australia. Had I not moved to Australia, I wouldn't have gone to China as my last big trip before heading home to the States. Had I not gone to China, I never would have met my British/Aussie husband who happened to be on the same trip.
So it all comes back to the ex, lol!

If I hadn't gotten transferred against my will, I wouldn't have met him. A coworker wanted to set me up, which I would never have agreed too, but I was having such a blue day, that I figured it couldn't get worse!

If it wasn't for a mutual friend almost getting deported, I never would have met dh.
Our friend asked all his best guy friends to go to temple with him to pray because he didn't want to get deported. Dh rarely went to temple, but I went all the time, so it was just a normal Friday night for me.
I saw dh with my friends, and he was actually the only person I didn't know. So I went to say hi to them, and met him. So glad dh went to temple that night!

DH and I met through mutual friends. If I hadn't gone out with them that night we may have never met. We definitely wouldn't have exchanged numbers and went on a date later that week.
Actually, I almost bailed on the date because one of my (former) friends was jealous. I literally turned around and started to drive back home, but for some reason I changed my mind. Glad I did!

If it weren't for Hurricane Katrina and craigslist. After Katrina I moved in with an old friend's mom outside of Philly and then answered a roommate wanted ad on craigslist. The guy (and his girlfriend) who I ended up moving in with is DH's best friend from like Junior High, and I met DH through him.

If I hadn't joined a sorority, we wouldn't have met. DH went to hs with a bunch of my Friends from college. Specifically, my sorority sister helpedush things along a bit!

My best friend! I was hanging with her one night and we planned to go into town to a bar, but she wanted to stop off and see a friend first, I wasn't keen on going to socialise with people I didn't know but ended up going and future dh was there. I swear life works in mysterious ways!

The church we both went to in undergrad... More specifically, him hearing that I could sing and play guitar and asking me to be a part of the praise band. He was the leader.

The first time (14 years ago) if a mutual friend hadn't thrown him a party while he was home on leave from Japan.
Second time (4 years ago) a friend talked me into going to the bar with her on Halloween. His roommate had talked him into going to the bar as well.

@mrbee: We were all out for our graduation and several people ended up back at our house. One of my BFFs met DH in a club and they got chatting (realised they were from the same city) and the guy whose house he was meant to be staying at came back to ours with my housemate, so my BFF brought DH home. He stayed in her bed that night (my other BFF shared a room with BBF#1 too) so both my friends slept in the room with him that night, although apparently nothing happened... ha ha. I saw him again a few months later when I was covering a story for the newspaper, interviewed him without realising who he was until he reminded me! We got together exactly a year after we first met. We had my BFF and the guy whose house he was MEANT to stay at do a reading at our wedding : )
