I would take a family trip to the Caribbean and then spend the rest on home decor!

Is it cheating to say I'd stick it in savings or pay 10k towards our student loans? Lol. I'd do that. If I can't do that, I'd get new carpeting throughout our house.

i would pay off a $5,000 in debt, put a couple grand down toward a new car for mr. bird, have my timing belt down on my car, and the rest can go in the pot toward our house down payment.

Pay off my cc debt. Then take Hubs to Hawaii. Whatever's left after our trip goes to the mortgage or my student loans.

Pay off our credit card debt, pay for painters to repaint our entire apartment, home decor, and a little 3-day weekend trip somewhere close, maybe D.C.?

Finish our backyard and pay someone to finish off the landscaping.

CC debt, soon-to-be hospital bills, our car (which is almost paid off), some better landscaping in our backyard and then maybe a vacation to Disneyland for DS's birthday!

Split it 3 ways - new kitchen appliances, a vacation, and rest toward student loans

Probably put it on the truck to get rid of the payment! BORING! Or if I had to do something more fun, re decorate our living area

Ah these threads that make me dream...
Replace our roof, re-do our whole front porch/stairs area (maybe driveway too). And leftover goes to beautifying our backyard! I want to re-landscape!

I'd probably use most of it toward a down payment on a car (either a highlander or a pilot) and then use the rest for a little family vacation

Finish off the baby registry, pay off our CC debt, and use it to go to the beach this summer!

Towards a down payment on a house or security deposit for a rental--anything but where we are now!
Family trip somewhere--maybe overseas? New bed, maybe some new furniture. New TV? (I swear ours is like 15 years old...)

half on home decor and half to save for summer (I don't work in summer).

Fix the gouges in my kitchen hardwood floors (thank you, Sears refrigerator delivery guys!), hire someone to paint all our ceilings, and book a Cape house for July 4th.

Realistically, I'd throw it all at my student loans.
If I am reaaaally dreaming big I'd rip out our kitchen and put the money towards a big upgrade.

Pay off credit card debt, then spend the rest on a long trip somewhere warm!

We'd either pay down some of my student loans or put it toward a new car. Not sure which

Pay off debt.
If I "wasn't allowed" to spend it on debt (like it was a 10k gift card.. haha) I would either buy a car (we need a new one) or go on a long vacation and buy a new TV.

That would be the perfect amount to pay off my line of credit and renovate our bathroom! So who's giving this to me?!?

Upgrade my car. I'm in the market for a 7seater SUV but it probably won't happen until the fall

A minivan! We have a hatchback and a truck right now. Once DS2 arrives, my husband won't be able to fit in the hatchback because he can't fit in front of either carseat! Thankfully we can make it work in the truck at least.

We have no debt so I would blow it on a new armchair and some art.

Trip to the Caribbean here too, then a new bathroom in our house, then whatever tiny leftovers after that to loans.
