which room would you redo?
I would do our living room. We really need new couches, rug, and accessories.

Our master bathroom! It's very outdated. I think we could make 5k stretch and be able to completely renovate it because we can do a lot of things ourselves.

Could I use it on our backyard? I was watching yard crashers over the weekend and swooning over creating the ultimate kid backyard with an adult enteraining space.

Master bath! That would be just enough to re-do the shower (I haaaaate the shower), replace the fixtures, and paint the walls. *swoons*

I would do our living room or paint as much as 5k would get me, our paint colors were picked by a contractor and I don't really like them.

Our bedroom! I would love to get a new king sized bed and nice mattress, new bedding, and actually decorate the walls (still almost bare after 4 years here… what up)

Oh wow, that's a hard question. I'm not sure we could do our kitchen for that amount (needs a lot of love) so maybe our living room walls or new dressers/night stands in our bedroom.

I would finish our downstairs bedrooms, they need mud and tape, paint, flooring, lighting and furniture!

We just did our master bath and I don't think 5k would cut it on the kitchen. I guess I'd go with our guest bath.

I'd take it and redo our bathrooms. We could do some of the work ourselves to save money, but they are both stuck in the 70's and it's got to go.

@Smurfette: our basement is 1/2 finished, 1/2 unfinished. I want to redo the finished part because it's got some stellar wood paneling.
