... How will you pass out candy?
We will probably be back early because LO is so young but I was thinking about leaving out a bowl with a note asking kids to just take one.

I'm not going ToTing but my neighbors across the street put a bag out and a teenage girl just ran back to their house after coming to mine for seconds there. Not cool!

My parents come over and they go trick-or-treating with my oldest, while DH, our youngest, and I pass out candy.
In previous years we've left a bowl, but I'm conviced someone takes the whole thing.

We aren't going to go out as a whole family for long, so we won't have candy while we are all out. Then, after a few houses DH and DS will come back to the house and pass out candy.

The dad and I stayed behind to hand out candy while the mom and baby went to a few houses. Growing up nobody ever put out a bowl because one kid would always take the whole thing. Punk!

We took DS ToT last night and apparently, leaving a bowl out full of candy is the norm! Apparently it's the norm and that ToT-ers should be courteous and just take one. Some houses write a note and stick to the bowl also, but it's an honor system.
