My friend got engaged last week and she is already stressing big time about who her escort should be...her dad or stepdad!
My dad walked me down the aisle and we were both nervous.

My dad! And he's very outgoing and was the perfect companion! He made some jokes before we walked to make me relax. Love my dad.

I had both my dad and my stepdad walk me down the aisle. Neither one wanted to do it if the other was there, but I put my foot down. I grew up with both of them, so it only felt right.

My brother & my mother both walked me down. It was perfect! My nephew was the ring barer when he saw his dad, my brother, he walked back up grabbed his dads hand so I technically had three escorts.

My dad.
We had a few minutes alone before the ceremony began. He said some really sweet things. I'll cherish that memory forever.

My Grandfather & business partner (father figure to me) walked me half way and then my Mom for the rest
Loved it! My dad would be the last person I would choose.

My mom and dad met me halfway down the aisle to walk me to the altar. My husband was walked down by his mom and dad too.

@LittleFox: We did the same. We used a less common Catholic processional where the bride and groom walk in together after the wedding party and the parents of the couple. I'm so glad we did-- I liked the symbolism of starting our wedding walking in together.
