My middlest used to hide thing in his ride on toy - it was always in the storage compartment under the seat.

She just grabs stuff and then drops it somewhere else. Our house is always a mess. This morning I had hair spray in my bathroom, my shoes (she was wearing them) left in the kitchen, and a snack prune on my bathroom floor (not a good thing to leave on a bathroom floor, I was concerned it was something eles).

I always look in the trash and in the hamper. He is very zealous about the hamper.

My little brother use to put stuff behind the couch. If we lost something, we would wait until nap time so he wouldn't see, and go back there to find it. If he caught you behind the couch he would go nuts because he thought you would steal "his" stuff. Once it got to his spot, it became "his".

When he was around 3 years old, my nephew hid my sister's debit card, without her knowing he had taken it. She looked everywhere for it and was ready to cancel the card. He finally told her he knew where her "money" was, and showed her that he had slipped it between the (tube) tv and the entertainment center it was sitting on. She was so impressed that he knew the card was like money, she immediately forgave him for all the frustration he caused!
