Never fully combined but we set up a joint account with direct deposit of a % of our paychecks a few weeks after the wedding. We still have our own accounts for fun money.

We officially did it about 5 years in when we bought our first home together before we got married.

probably a few months before the wedding we went "all in" - we owned a house before that and shared our checking account but we finally consolidated credit cards and savings accounts too.

When we moved in together! We opened a joint account to pay all our joint household bills!

We opened a joint account when we were buying a house together (prior to our engagement) but we still both have separate accounts for spending money and so that he can send money to his family - ATM mugging occurs way too often there for me to be comfortable with his brothers having a card for our joint account.

Right after we married. It was one of DH and mine's hangup. Changing my name and combining accounts at the same time made it easier.

We haven't had an issue with paying for the wedding & buying a house even w/ separate accounts; we see it as one anyway.

We did it the week after we got married. I wasn't working though, and had just graduated from college, so it was more like he added me to his account!

When we were dating and moved in together. We'd been together for almost 7 years, but were only 22 so we never did it earlier because we didn't have any money, lol! So pretty much once we got a place, both had "careers" everything was joint.

As soon as we got married! We set up a joint account while we were engaged for wedding funds and it became our main account after the wedding.

We started a joint checking and joint savings right after we got married, but still keep our finances mostly separate. We might combine a bit more now that LO is here, but we'll see how things go.

we didn't combine finances until we were married. but we also didn't live together until after we were married. we both paid for different parts of the wedding/honeymoon etc.
