would you?
I'm a WAHM/WOHM mom and wouldn't change it!

no, I would stay a WOHM but I would love to work 35 hours per week! That extra hour a day would be so awesome!!

I would love to have a regularly scheduled WAHM day each week. I mean, technically I can do it whenever I want but I feel like I'm slacking when I shoot an email in the morning saying I'll be working from home. It would be nice to have it as part of the regular schedule. But other than that, I'm very happy.

I SAH but I would like maybe 1 day of WAH, split out among the days (so, like 2 half days, maybe). I'd be happy to keep my skills active and up to date, bring in a little money, and hopefully make it easier to return to the work force once babies are in school.

SAHM for a couple of months and then WOHM 3 days out of 5 instead of fulltime!

I'm a SAHM right now and wouldn't change it until after baby 2 is settled.

I would continue to work part time but would stop being on call at night and on the weekend. I hate that part of my job.

Nope but I recently got my wish and dropped a day of work so I will be working four days in the fall

I'm on maternity leave for another 12 weeks, which is great, but will be full time working long hours when I go back. If I could go part time and have a shorter commute, I think I could still love WOH, but as things are I'm dreading it!

It's crazy...I never thought I'd enjoy being a SAHM but it's my first summer off with both kids and I'm loving it. I find myself thinking often how much I'd enjoy being a SAHM. Having a hard time thinking about when the kids go back to daycare in August.
In reality...I think I'd miss the paychecks.

Nope, I'm a part-time WOHM and feel like I get the best of both worlds!

If I could keep my same pay I wouldn't mind having one or two SAHM days with DS each week. He's at such a great age and keeps getting more and more fun.

I like working! I would want to be either WOHM (part time) and SAHM the other half

WOHM full time and have LO in daycare half days or half- weeks.

I like WOHM, but wouldn't mind a few days of WAHM. My life would be so much less stressful I think.

I'm a WOHM, I'd LOVE to be part time - not realistic though. Or work from home one day a week would be sweet

I would love to work from home so I would be able to keep R home a little longer in the AM and pick her up earlier.

I'd love to WOH three days or keep my current option where WOH 4 days and WAH one day but without the travel.
grapefruit / 4066 posts
I WOH 4 days per week, and WAH 1 day/week...and I'd love to have 1 day off a week like I used to

No, I WAH/WOH too and that's a good balance for me.

I would go from WOHM and FT student to just FT student. Doing both is a lot! Then after graduation go back to WOHM

I'm a SAHM but sometimes I wish I could work out of the home 2 days a week just to give myself a little break from the house and to bring in some or my own (even if minor) income. I just think it would be a nice balance for my personality type!

If I could change it to full time PhD student with my current salary, I'd change it!
But no, I love what I do.

@Mrs. Bee: my thoughts exactly!
I would love to have 1-2 days of WAH scheduled. I can do it once in awhile but not regularly.
cantaloupe / 6791 posts
Yup, I'd like to be a SAHM. I'm not working this summer and while I'm super grateful, it almost feels like a tease and I really don't wanna go back

I currently WOH full time. I'm on maternity leave right now, and my return date is a few weeks away. I just met with my boss yesterday to see if stepping down to PT is a possibility. So hopefully she'll approve and I can spend more time with my newborn and toddler!
