Who would you pick? I would pick my moochy BIL. He can be a terrible person!

Maybe he would get along well with my moochy SIL? Except they couldn't mooch off each other.

I've actually had to do this recently and it is really depressing. I hope I never have to do it again.

My grandma. She's a manipulative, bitter, mean person. She told me she hoped our soon was wrong and we would have a boy because she knew my husband was disappointed we were having a girl (he wasn't. Obviously. And she's neve around him anyway)

One of my sisters has basically excommunicated herself from the rest of the family because she couldn't agree to disagree over personal beliefs. I haven't spoken to her since before last Christmas. It's really sad and I wish we could all just get along. We used to be really close too.

No one! My MIL drives me nuts but I would eventually miss her, I think.

I can't think of anyone I would cut right off. Sometimes I need a break from my IL's, but that's normal in my mind.

@chopsuey119: aww that is so sad why?
I wouldn't with anyone... I couldn't imagine the pain of breaking off ties with a family member. I love my family so much.

Unfortunately I've cut myself off completely from some of my family, and severely decreased communication with most of the rest. They're very openly disapproving of my lifestyle (moving above the Mason Dixon line, marrying an atheist and being a liberal are the big three). My brother, who I used to be super close with, called me on my wedding day and told me I was going to hell for marrying "that atheist". I got the same song and dance from several of them about DS--he's going to spend eternity burning because DH and I aren't religious and aren't going to baptize him.
It's sad, but it's the best for me and my little family to not let that sort of hate anywhere near DS. I'm super close with my husband's family, though.

I have a pretty large family so there is at least one aunt and one cousin I immediately think of! They are so rude. But I don't talk to them often anyway.

FIL. For sure.
He's a very difficult person, and anytime I spend time around him or even talk or think about him, I get so stressed out. He's caused panic attacks and even ulcers in the past.
