if you could have any other job...

I love my job, I truly do. But if I ever did anything else, it would be in the realm of starting a franchise business. I (and my husband) have great business acumen and I know that if there was a blueprint/model already in place due to the purchase of a franchise, we would hit the ground running and basically just do awesome with it. I am a lot more skeptical of starting a business 100% as a new to market business, mainly because I watched my Dad's business crash and BURN and it left a long trail of debt and heartache for my parents to deal with. So I would love to have my own business, just with the added security of the franchise name/model - the job I have now is one where I basically act as if it's "mine" as far as what I do to grow my sales and revenue, and I do pretty awesome and they reimburse me extremely well for my efforts, but hey- they still make a lot more from the fruits of my labors:)

I'd actually love to start a Chick Fil A, because let's face it, what Chick Fil A fails? We looked into startup capital requirements and the snag is that you have to be a store manager in a Chick Fil A for a couple of years. And at this point, I'm not down with that JUST yet. I still like my job way too much!

I'd work for Planned Parenthood or a similar program - providing sex education to teens, abortion support, birth control support, rape counseling...

If you know me you'd think this sounds kind of odd for me - a teacher. It's never been my dream job but something that's always been in the back of my head. I was in IT for a long time before I became a SAHM. Very different. I'm not sure what I'd do next... I guess we'll see in a few years!

I would like to do something where I felt valued. Something where people relied on me, like some sort of criminal investigator or profiler or something like that.
