Assuming that you'd be able to afford 3.
I know we're 2 and done, but if the choice was 1 or 3, I think I'd have to go with 3. I just have so many good memories with my brother growing up that I want my kids to have a sibling.
What about you?

We're *probably* done, but between 1 and 3, I think I'd take 3 in a heartbeat.

Definitely 3! I'm one of three and I love having multiple siblings.
I finally got my husband to agree to "lets have 2, then talk about a 3rd."

1 We had always said probably 2 but shortly after my daughter was born we decided that we were probably 1 and done anyways so given the choices-- 1 and done!

I would want 3 also! I'm done at 2 I think but I couldn't imagine DS without a sibling at all.

I would have to say 3 though I have 2 right now and definitely no plans to have a 3rd. LO just adores her brother. I'm excited to watch their relationship grow.

@pastemoo: Just wait. I was a horrible, swollen, grumpy, miserable pregnant woman and by the time I was 2-3 weeks pp, I missed being pregnant. It's the weirdest thing.

@zippylef: LOL. I know I'll miss feeling the baby kick--I am preparing myself for that. The rest of it--guess you'll have to ask me in 3 weeks so I can look back and laugh at myself.

1. DH and I have no interest in having more than 2 children, and I liked growing up as an only child.

3. I wouldn't want my child to go through life without a sibling.

One. We probably fall into the "one and done" camp, and three would just be too many for us.

Probably 1. We always said 2, but I'm already starting to lean towards the 1-and-done camp. We couldn't possibly afford 3 kids, anyway.

1 - Both, DH and I, were one of 3 kids. Although I like having siblings, I just don't know if I could handle being pulled in 3 different directions all the time.

Three! I loved having 4 siblings. And I definitely have a better understanding of how to raise multiple children than just one.

I used to want 4 kids. Didn't think it was crazy until I had one. LOL! But if it were between 1 and 3 it would be 3. I told my husband that if we were to have an accident it would be a happy accident. But we are done! Two is enough!

one. Like @babyboecksmom said, we would struggle with being pulled in three directions. Also, because we're a little older, having more than one is unlikely. I have a great relationship with my sibling and I'll feel badly that my kid won't have that, but she'll have cousins really close in age and distance. I hope they'll all be good friends.

1 is fine with me. I was an only child and don't know what I'm "missing" by never having a sibling.

3 because I would think an only child would get lonely once the parents are gone.
GOLD / wonderful pomegranate / 28905 posts
3 as well! I'm a big proponent of sibling love.

That's a hard one. I'd say 3. My husband is an only child and he was really lonely growing up. Although 3 would be really tough, I'd love to have a big family. I'm sticking with 2 for us though!

Definitely 3! I'm one of three and it was so fun growing up. It was a nightmare for my mom sometimes, but now she says it was absolutely worth it and I agree
