I played classical piano growing up, and would love to pick up jazz piano. No time for it these days though!
I would love to play the trumpet or the sax, but it's probably too late in life to pull that off. I got a sax in college and took a few lessons, but never got very far with it.
If you could pick up a musical instrument at this point, what would you like to learn?

Ooooh, I would love to learn the flute. I would also love to get better at he piano - I play a little bit but Im sure that whatever limited skill I had has eroded to nothing after 12 years without playing!

Probably something less usual... like harp. That would be cool. Or maybe like banjo or just piano. We have a baby grand, so I could conceivably learn any time. lol

Piano would be cool, but don't have the space for one. DH has a guitar he has slowly been trying to learn and I think it would be so fun to learn myself. My hope is to one day learn the accordion, but that would likely be as the kids get older.

I'd love to learn to play the violin. I played the piano and clarinet for years, but haven't touched either of them in a while. Piano I can still pick up fairly easily but I think my clarinet playing days are long gone.... I have always loved the violin though and wish I could play!

I played violin and piano growing up and had some clarinet and guitar lessons - but my love for violin and piano never has waned! I actually hope to pick them back up after I'm done with school as "my thing" that I do just for myself. My music teacher from when I was a kid actually just moved back into my area so I already know I want to see her again, and have J take lessons with her as well!
If I was picking something up that was new - I'd probably choose cello, though possibly viola. I love strings.

I played piano and flute growing up. Whenever I watch the piano guys on youtube, I think the cellist is freaking amazing.
