Hmmm..... although I am technically fluent in Korean, it is about at a 6th grade level at best. I would love to be totally fluent (I can't fully understand the Korean news for instance when I watch it).
Everyone seems to be studying Spanish and Chinese these days, but for what I do I think I'm fine knowing just English. I'd just like to be able to teach Korean to my kids.

I'm happy speaking English and Korean fluently.
If I were a business woman, I'd totally want to speak Chinese though.

Probably Spanish just because I know I'd actually be able to use it with my sister, her husband and nephew, and my husband's SIL and nephews.
But I love the sound of French and think it's such a beautiful language.

I was pretty fluent in French in high school (even spent 2 weeks in France with a French family) but I've lost a lot of it!

Definitely Spanish. My job deals with a lot of ESL students (in my last class, 9 out of my 17 students spoke Spanish primarily). My Spanish is getting a lot better just by interacting with my kids and plus, my sister is a Spanish minor in college so I get her to help me.

Vietnamese so I can communicate better with my in-laws and teach it to our children. I tried Rosetta Stone but I'm terrible with the pronunciation!

I'd love to be more fluent in Chinese. It's about middle school competency right now.
I took Spanish from 4th grade through HS, then CLEP-ed it. I loved it. I've lost some of it, but I don't use it often right now.
I'd love to be more fluent in Khmer so that I can communicate better with my in-laws. I know quite a few words and it gets me by, but not enough to understand full sentences or conversations.

Spanish. I can speak/understand enough for the basics. I read much better than I speak it. My husband and BFF and her family speak Spanish. My husband speaks like a Spaniard but I'm partial to Latin American Spanish because I grew up in NYC and it's what I'm used to hearing.

Vietnamese. It's my Grandma's first language and I'd love to be able to speak to her with it. She also speaks english but I know she would be ecstatic if I knew Vietnamese.

I'm fluent in Albanian, and I have to learn Serbian/Croatian for work, but if it were totally up to me I want to learn Arabic and Farsi.

I'm fluent in Tagalog (Filipino) but I also find it hard to understand formal speech, as in the news or anything academic. But I've worked hard in improving it before I left the States, and speak it more fluently now than I had ever been.
I should want to learn Swedish ... I do live here, but since I arrived, the language was used to exclude and I find it difficult to get past that. Call me stubborn ... but hopefully by seeing my LO start to speak Swedish it will motivate me more (I can speak it, just not very well).
If nothing else mattered, I'd love to speak French. I find the language so beautiful.

I'd want to speak Japanese fluently. Since moving here, my Japanese has gotten much better but I'm not fluent enough yet. I'd definitely like to be able to read and write without having to use a translator.

@Sweet T: the Vietnamese Rosetta Stone is Northern Vietnamese FYI. DH's family is from Saigon so the dialect is different which just confuses me even more. I wish they made a Southern Vietnamese Rosetta Stone!

Russian! A lot of the Eastern European languages are similar enough that they can understand each other, so I think it would be good to know one of them. I wouldn't mind knowing Spanish, too, just to make it easier to communicate with Mexican immigrants.
