Right now, we're in the thick of his "why?" "because why?" phase. I didn't realize how draining one lil phrase could be, until I was hearing it a million times a day! 
Up until now, it probably would've been his "NO!" during his early 2s!

"I can't" (said in a whining tone). I think she learned it from Frozen (when Elsa screams "I CAN'T" and shoots ice into Anna's heart). I also tell her sometimes that I cannot read to her in the car because I'm driving.

@avivoca: My LO says I can't and I really don't like it. Not sure where he learned it since he hasn't seen Frozen yet.

"What's dat, mommy?" Especially if he's watching a movie. The first 15 minutes is of him asking me that of everything happening.

not a phrase, but if I could eliminate the high pitched screech that occurs for every single emotion (happy, sad, angry, doesn't matter) it would drastically improve my quality of life.

M says "I can't" and I have no idea where she got it - I always re-direct telling her, "yes you can."
When I ask her to do something and she replies back - "no you want to do that." No I don't, that's why I'm asking you to do it! 
And currently - "no, I don't want to sit on the potty" Ugh

It's a tie between "No!" in a loud very toddler voice, and "I don't have to listen to mommy!" That one really gets under my skin!
Runner up is "what's that?" @Alivoo01: every time we read a book now I can't even read between telling her what every single thing is. I know it's developmentally appropriate but it's freaking annoying.

@Foodnerd81: DS does it on car rides and points to things. I try and see what he's pointing at and tell him it's "XYZ", but sometimes, he's still pointing in the same area and I've already listed potential things so I just start making things up!

@Alivoo01: haha yes she doesn't accept "I don't know" so I'll make things up. Or purposely say the wrong thing since she asked twenty times already and she looks at me and goes, "actually, it's a dog" (or whatever). The actually kind of kills me.

Either "up please" or "what that?" He asks "what that" a thousand times in a row about things that he absolutely knows the answer to and it makes me nuts.

@Foodnerd81: @Alivoo01: Oh, it's nice to see that it's not just me! He'll just look out the car window and say "What that?" It's like playing I Spy while driving with no clues. "Was it a truck? Was it a tree? Was it a dog? Was it a car?"

"I need water...NOW!" She's been adding a growly, screamy now to the end of requests. I'm so tired of reminding her the appropriate ways to speak to us.

@Foodnerd81: OMG!! YES!! Or he'll say it's a train and I'm like where?! That's not a train! I don't see a train! And he's like, ova dere! and laughs. Then is adamant it's a train. In the middle of a neighborhood while actively arguing with me it is. Kill me. lol

She learned 'nasty' from my mom. So she'll yell 'No, nasty mommy!' At me if I'm asking her to do something. Or if I say 'I'll count to three and...' She yells '1, 2, 3, Nasty!'
It drives me crazy.

"I'm almost ready..." Whenever he's asked if he's ready or told it's time to do something. It's frustrating, but actually still pretty cute.
