@MsMini: that's a good one too... I think lots of the anxiety stems from expectations that were formed hen "you" just couldn't possibly know what to expect.

Ignore the well meaning people that will tell you to "enjoy every minute!!!!!!!" There will be many wonderful times but other times that feel just plain torturous (sleep deprivation, inconsolable baby etc.) you are not a bad mother for not enjoying EVERY minute

The advice I give expecting moms now is this: before you have a baby, take a long, long shower - the type where you're in there till the water runs out. I still miss that shower.
