How in the world did you manage to do Day 2? Every part of my body hurts. I can barely pick up Evan or even stand up/sit down without almost crying! How am I supposed to do it again???

The very first time I did it I felt that way! But it gets so much easier. Power through it!

@FutureMrsMcK: Just try to do as much as you can and not push it. You'll hate every moment of it but it'll keep you going!

You'll feel better after you do it and loosen up the stiff muscles. Just do some of the modifications and take it a bit easier today! Once you get moving and your muscles warm up you'll feel a lot better.

It gets easier every time! I know it sucks to think about doing it again tonight but it'll help ease up all the soreness and stiffness from yesterday.

The more you move the better you feel! When you're stationary your muscles tighten up. When you do the workout again they will loosen up and won't hurt as bad! You can do it!

What a coincidence! I started the 30 Day Shred yesterday as well! I'm going to do Day 2 in two hours, and though I'm not looking forward to it, I know I'm gonna just take it easy and modify the exercises....on Day 1, I could barely even do a couple of girly push-ups, that's how weak I was! Today, I think I'm just gonna try push-ups against the wall!

On but it hurts so good!! I haven't done it since LO was born but I remember that burn. Stick with it (gently for days 2 and 3) and you'll feel like superwoman!

I just did day 1...oh lord...day 2 is going to be rough. My legs feel like jelly!!

@cranberryapple: Oh good, maybe you can keep me honest! I could barely do the girly push-ups either...period, lol. I can do everything else but I struggle so much with them. I think I can do like 1 for every 3 they do, but I figure that's better than zero...
I made it through last night, just barely. I had to yell at myself a lot. I really need someone in my face yelling at me to stop being a wimp.
I couldn't walk this morning, though. The baby was crying and it took me a solid minute to sit up and get out of bed, and I was whimpering and using the wall as support. Sitting down and standing up was nearly impossible, and good lord getting up and down off the ground with little one almost made me cry. I feel like I can move some, now, but I'm dreading doing it again tonight...

I did day one for a week and then day 2 for a week and so on. That gives your body a chance to get a rhythm and then day 2 messes you up again! Haha

@FutureMrsMcK: How are you feeling now? I hope much better, and stronger!
I completed Day 4, though I was still taking it sorta easy with the weights - using 3lbs at times! I consider myself lucky because DH is also doing this with me, so that helps motivate me. (My sister and cousin are also doing it as well! So much accountability!)
Different parts of my body are sore on different days. Today, I think I'm a lot better overall, but yesterday, it was my legs, and the day before, my back. LOL

You just have to power through and keep doing it, it gets better - I also used advil lol

@cranberryapple: I completely flaked out on Day 3
My legs (from thighs to knees) killed me. It took me two solid minutes to sit up and get out of bed that morning. I had to brace and lower myself into chairs and onto the toilet. I couldn't get up and down off the floor with E, and that wasn't okay with me. I reminded myself that my long-term goal is to be healthy and fit into my old clothes, and though losing weight and toning is a big part of it that I'm trying to run a marathon, not a 100-yard-dash, if that analogy makes sense.
Anyway, I pushed right back in last night and it went well. I got through it much easier (still suck at push-ups), and though I'm definitely feeling it today (mostly in my butt!) I can walk and get on the floor and be physical with Evan. I'm actually waiting for him to fall asleep for a nap so I can do it!

@FutureMrsMcK: Just wanted to check up on you and see how it's going with the 30 Day Shred! ^__^

I did 30DS in preparation for a bathing suit heavy vacation, and plan to do it again soon to tighten up.
I remember Day 2 being an absolute beast - I could barely sit down on the toilet seat without wincing. I pushed through and completed 35 days before leaving on vacation, and looked and felt pretty great. Win!
Did any of you pair the workout with the Jillian Michaels detox tea? I've never peed so much in my life (not even during my recent pregnancy), but it definitely helped.

@cranberryapple: Um. Bad. I think I came down from something wrong and sprained both my right knee and left foot on Day 5 or 6. I couldn't put anything close to full weight on them for like 2 weeks. Had to grit my teeth to stand up, sit down, crouch, kneel, or otherwise get on the floor with E. Or walk. I hobbled a lot. They've both just started feeling back to normal the past few days but I'm nervous to start again, so I might start with something a little bit less intense, like Pilates, and work my way back up to Jillian. I hope you're doing much, much better!
