Following too. Please God no. My mom got zero from me (average baby), zero with my brother (big baby), and 1 with my other brother (whopper baby).

I only had a few after my first and I have tons under my belly button after my second! Gained less weight (15 vs 33lbs) but I guess stretching out twice was bad for my skin.

@autumnlove: I've gotten quite a few more this second pregnancy, too. It's really frustrating because I already thought my belly was pretty well stretched out -- guess not.

Yes.
I only get them on my hips with W....3-4 on each side.
After M, the entire lower portion of my stomach is covered in them.

Nope! Two very normal sized babies later (7 lbs 6 oz, and 8 lbs 2 oz) and I still have never had even a hint of a stretch mark. I come from a line of good genes - my mom had three kids and never had a stretch mark either!

I got them more near the end of my 2nd and 3rd pregnancies, but they've faded away fast after birth.

Yes I did. I had 3 from R and those became larger as well as getting some on the lower portion of my stomach.

nope. none with both and didn't use stretch mark cream. my mom didn't have any either so it's probably genetic.

I should also say, it's definitely genetic.
My mom's entire body is covered in stretch marks, and my younger sisters have them even though they have never bared children. I was bound to get them at some point!

Yes. I got 1 with C, but a bunch with E.

I don't have any now, I got two with my second that went away, none with my third!

It's definitely genetic - did your mom get them?
I only got SM on my chest during pregnancy (they joined the lovely ones I got during puberty...). My mom never got any.

I gained 30 pounds with both pregnancies and didn't get any with either pregnancy.

I got the cream my mom swore by from Motherhood yesterday and applying that every morning/night!

I think my mom has some. I didn't get any with my first and got a few with my second. Both around 8.5 lbs

@septca: my mom had 4 kids and got none! My sister has had 3 kids one of which was 10 lbs and had none :). Looks promising for me!

Oh I should add that I have some on my hips from puberty but they are white now.

So, I got tons of stretch marks during puberty (on boobs, thighs, hips), but got only one tiny one on my huge belly, first pregnancy. Baby was 8.9 lbs and I'm 5'1". Soooo. I don't know what this means. My mom has stretch marks, too. I was sure I would get them last time around. Crossing my fingers for this time.

I got none with D, none with S and ONE with M. It happened to be where they needed to make an incision for my laproscopy, so it's now just a scar.
