...what would you do/focus on?
I'm new at this! We have our first showing at 2:30 and I'm freaking out. (Especially as it cuts into nap time so I'm going to have to wake my kids up to leave in time!)
What are last minute things you'd do?

Make sure the house smells nice! That was a huge one for me when we were buying. Other than that, just making sure the house is clean in general and as picked up as possible with two young kids

Clean the bathrooms and kitchen. I had such a difficult time with this when we were house hunting....if these rooms are gross, I can not look past them.

Pick up anything you can and put away. Ex: No toys, clothes, etc on the floor, bed, etc.

Freshen up the bathrooms ie make sure the toilets are flushed and the counters are dry.
Spruce up the kitchen- clear off the counters as much as you can and make sure it's not emitting anything but fresh smells and or baked goods.

Do a quick clean of the bathrooms and kitchen, and sweep! I always noticed if there was lots of pet dander hanging out in corners. Also, light a nice candle or simmer some vanilla or lemon on the stove to help it smell nice.

@Synchronicity: I have some candles lit now that have a really nice light smell --- hoping that helps on that front even though I will obviously have to blow them out when we go!
@looch: Just cleaned my bathrooms - now to finish the dishes from lunch and wiping down the counters!
@BandDmommy: Working on this now! It's hard when a toddler lives here, gosh!! He is into everything these days!!
