Following! But also wanted to say that it seems that some people really do have it easy start to finish. A good friend of mine got pregnant very easily, had a super easy pregnancy (like, never puked and was wearing high heels the day before she delivered easy), went into labor 2 days before her due date, had a 7 hour labor with almost no tearing, a 6 lb perfectly healthy baby, and her baby was STTN (having to be woken to eat!) the first week.

I'd have to hate her if she didn't give me hope that it's possible to have things go so perfectly lol

My pregnancy with M was super easy and labour was as well. Only labored for 11 hours and vaginal but needed vacuum assist.

This pregnancy is not starting out as easy. But still easier than a lot!

With A my pregnancy was very easy, textbook, no issues and I can't complain! My labor was 9 hours from contraction one to her being born. I had to push for an hour and 45 minutes but her head wasn't coming out straight so that's probably why. This time around things have been pretty easy too, a little bit more back pain and soreness but I got pregnant 10 months PP so I'm thinking that's why. Hoping I don't have to push as long this time, and I will be happy

My pregnancy was very easy, but I had HBP,which turned to pre-e. I was hooked up to IVs and was induced but it was very easy.

Very easy pregnancy.
Very difficult drawn out labor. Water broke Friday, emergency c-section Tuesday just after midnight. LGA baby.
Very easy baby though, which is the important part I think.

Really easy pregnancy. I worked out until my due date, no health issues. Labor was long, really really long and I had back labor throughout but it was manageable.

Hard pregnancy, hard labor, colicky baby. I'm hoping you're blessed in all 3 categories!!

I guess I'm another middle of the road pregnancy. I had spotting from the start, a couple of infections around 20 weeks, normal morning sickness, and some puking, then easy from then on out. Near the end of my pregnancy, I got a little swollen in part because of the weather and sciatica acted up. I'd say minor pains and discomforts towards the end.

My labor and delivery was relatively easy. I went into labor, labored for 8-10 hours at the hospital, had an epidural, had a vaginal delivery with second degree tears.

LO was a colicky, non farting newborn. Life was tough until he was 6 months old and sleep trained. After that, life with a little one got a thousand times better.

My pregnancy was aaaaaawesome.
My labor sucked. 21hrs of back labor turned csection d/t fetal heart rate/cockeyed baby/failure to progress.

I had a fairly easy pregnancy. All day nausea for about 20 weeks...I remember saying I wouldn't have another baby at the time...but once it cleared I had a super easy pregnancy. I did gain a ton of weight but I felt great up until my due date...she was 2 days late.

I voted easy pregnancy hard labor but I don't know if that's accurate. My labor stalled and I spiked a fever and LO's heart rate was super high and tests later showed I had some uterine infection and it crossed over to her so we were both had IVs and antibiotics in the hospital for 4 days. So I ended up with an unplanned c-section but it was "easy" (bled too much and almost ended up with blood transfusion bc my uterus wouldn't stop bleeding) in the sense that I had a super easy recovery and was walking around the next day and had no issues PP. BF was tough bc my milk didn't come in but once that worked itself out everything was easy. LO was such an easy baby which is where I think I lucked out the most.

Both my pregnancies were what you'd call "easy" - no nausea (only when I didn't eat!), no real back pain, no complications. I did have post partum PUPPP (body rash - major itching!! drove me crazy. which lasted about a week).

First delivery was induced at 38 weeks 5 days. My LO was measuring small so they decided to get him out. Induced around 4pm and delivered 8am the following day. Other than the ton of instruments, poking, prodding, bulb catheter, not being able to pee bc of all the things I was hooked up to down there - the actual delivery itself was very fast. 3 pushes maybe? No real tearing so no stitches.

Second delivery was very quick so no time for an epidural!! (that was NOT planned). Felt contractions around 3pm and delivered 11:30pm. I labored at home most of the time (got to the hospital at 9:30pm-ish) Waiting for the dr to get there was the most painful part bc of all the pressure that I felt down there. Pushed maybe twice and he came out. 2nd degree tears and some placenta was still left inside which the dr had to manually remove (I told my OB that I actually hated her at that point, which she later laughed about) but otherwise everything else fine.

I feel very lucky that both deliveries were "easy" and can say I was in the camp of easy pregnancy, easy delivery...Nothing to brag about...just saying its possible

Hard labor- only because I had to be induced at 42 weeks.... LO didn't want to come out!

The second half of my pregnancy was really hard. Despite exercising and being really healthy in general, I had terrible hip pain and could only take a few steps at a time or stand up for a few minutes. I had awful heartburn, too. Like, completely changed my diet, took prescription medicine, flew threw bottles of tums, and would still end up waking up gagging on bile in the night. The first half was fine, mild nausea but some really bad cramping.

Labor was tough. I went into labor naturally when my water broke. An hour later I was two centimeters and contracting regularly. I had back labor and intense hip pain. After four hours of contractions, I was checked again. 2.5 centimeters. I asked for an epidural. It took an hour to get. By that point I was 6 centimeters. It never fully took. It took a few hours to set in and started wearing off half an hour after that. I still had intense hip pain the whole time. The baby wasn't descending so the MW had me start pushing. I pushed for three hours and had a second degree tear (though that never bothered me). He was sunny side up and rotated at the last second to come out sideways. I was in labor 14 hrs.

I know everyone's definitions of easy and hard are different and I'm sure some women wouldn't mind what I went through. But I had a rough time. I think I thought if I exercised and was healthy, I would soar through it all. Even now it bugs me when I see women post stuff like "well my labor was really easy, but that's because I was in such good shape!" So much of it is just luck and genetics.

I had an easy, textbook pregnancy (measured right on track every single exam). I had nausea all throughout the first trimester, but only threw up twice. We went a week past my due date, and I worked right up to my due date (no swelling, though I did have ankles swell up about a week after birth).

Labor, except for being back labor and uncomfortable, never got to the super painful point. I walked into the hospital, hung out in the waiting room until they had a spot for me in triage, was told that I probably wasn't dilated much since I was acting so fine. I was, I believe, 5cm dilated at that point ;). Got an epi soon after being admitted, and maybe 6 hours later was pushing. Pushing took over an hour. I had some tearing but not bad, and recovery was fine.

Average-ish pregnancy. No major problems, but I had no appetite, was sick all the way through, and struggled to put on and keep on weight. Loads of pain, especially towards the end....moving at all often had me in tears. Some swelling, but that's normal, especially considering I had an August baby.

Tougher labor. 31 hours from first contraction I couldn't sleep through until delivery. I was very sick...I lost count of how many times I threw up. Back labor from a posterior baby and my epidural stopped working twice. Pretty bad pp hemorrhage, and wasn't allowed to get out of bed for something like 6 hours after delivery.

But healthy, relatively easy baby. He would only ever sleep while being held and cluster-nursed almost around the clock, but was breastfeeding was very very easy for us and he was otherwise pretty chill, and was eventually very easy to sleep-train.

I voted "easy, easy" ... But, my easy labor still HURT! It was unmedicated, at home ... But my labor progressed like a textbook labor. Lasted six hours. Pushed for 15 minutes. Delivered an intact placenta, and only had minimal tearing (two sutures).

My recovery was a lot harder than I thought it would be, but a baby came out of me, so I guess it makes sense!

I'd say mine was average, puked all day every day for the first 17 weeks then the rest of pregnancy was fine. I was induced so 8 hours of labor (was back labor) without pain meds (wasn't allowed an epidural) and lo was out in 2 pushes. Had a small labial graze.

Easy pregnancy, easy labor, super colicky newborn-4 months. But he started sleeping through the night at 8 weeks, so I was lucky there as well!

I threw up once in the first trimester and only gained 14 lbs total (not intentionally, and Jack was a very health 7 lb 2 oz at delivery). I was in active labor for just a few hours and pushed for 20 minutes.

Then I trekked all over the NICU for a few days (severe jaundice) and then our house for a few months (colic, and he was only calmed by me holding him and walking around). Those first few months were so, so hard. But pregnancy and labor/delivery were easy peasy. Hope you have a dream delivery!
