I am not of the norm and work from home 99% of the time. I went into the office once and got sick and had to tell one person, but if I was working in the office then yes - I would have had to tell people early, especially puking 4-5 times a day.

Yes! I was put on bedrest at 8 weeks for HG, as I literally would throw up 7-10 times a day. So, I had to meet with my immediate supervisor, and my boss to work out the logistics of teleworking. They were completely supportive. It also meant telling my colleagues so they could help with caseload, as well as telling my clients so they would know why I wasn't coming in person.

I work from home but if I worked in an office, I definitely would have. I was sick several times a day in my first trimester.

I did with my first pregnancy - I told at 6 weeks. With my second I just barfed freely, took time off, and developed a pretty good baby bump by 12 weeks, and just didn't say anything because the pregnancy was really precarious. Everyone obviously knew by the 12 weeks mark, I just didn't want to talk about it until we were more confident in the pregnancy.

Yes, I told my desk-mate at seven weeks because it was awful and I looked like a train wreck.

Mine didn't start until around 10 weeks so everybody knew at that point. It didn't end until she was born...

Yes, I am just in my 9th week and my boss and coworkers have known for at least 2 weeks. I've been a hot mess at work and it was completely obvious. I've had to ask coworkers on multiple occasions to cover a patient as I run for the bathroom. I wish I could've waited a few more weeks but ultimately have needed (& appreciated!) their help and support!!

I told my supervisor, but did not announce it until my second trimester. I kept a toothbrush and toothpaste in my locker and always had my antiemetic med with me.

Mine wasn't too terrible this time. But I had 2/3 really tough weeks and I did have to tell a couple people due to my weird behavior and eating

We told everyone at 7 weeks, so we could do it on Christmas Eve when most of the family was together. If we hadn't though, I would have been forced to tell early because my morning sickness was just too severe to hide by 8 or 9 weeks.

I told people I saw day-to-day, and my family. We got away with not telling DH's family, I just avoided being around when he Skyped.
