con: often running late, procrastinate things I don't want to do, don't take being told what to do well

Pros: caring, conscientious, detail oriented, always on time or early, planner, organized, good listener, puts family first
Cons: inflexible, set in ways, defensive, doesn’t like to be spread too thin, kids before spouse too.

Pros: Puts husband first, generous, plans fun outings, creative, places emphasis on self-control and kindness, keeps the family rhythm going.
Cons: Insecure, doesn’t play with the kids often enough, impatient and demanding at times, battles depression and chronic pain, not very spontaneous, sometimes expects too much of the children, often dislikes other people’s kids.

con: high expectations of others, high strung/high anxiety, stubborn, push myself too hard

I do this with my therapist all time time bc all I ever list in cons!
Pros: organized, driven, reliable, good in social settings, root and support the underdog, empathetic (tho sometimes not with my kids🤔), energetic, makes people feel welcome, funny
Cons: anxious, type a, never pleased, a nag, judgemental and critical, impulsive, obsessive, not a great listener, mean to my husband, impatient, gets stressed too easily, mean to my mom

Pros: self reflective, I deal with problems head on, kind, I have amazing patience, creative and a hard worker
Cons: anxious, insecure, I overreact sometimes, I quit things a lot and never finish stuff, poor discipline, can be lazy and an escapist mentally.

cons: emotional, know-it-all, loud, judgemental, anxious, lazy
belongs on both lists: sensitive, reactive, helpful/enabler

Pro: Creative, artistic, funny, always on-time, grateful, hard-working
Cons: extreme lack of patience, yeller, anxious / "often feel/look lost", poor sense of direction, emotional, often take things personally, messy, want to have it all, procrastinate, perfectionist, emotional, shy / introverted, pessimistic, high expectations on others (especially my poor DS), don't do the "grown up" stuff very well (eg. finance, insurance, maintenance of house, yard, car...etc)
Unclassified: I am extremely organized with work, but extremely disorganized in life
Gosh, I am a terrible person! This parenthood thing does reveal flaws and amplify them 100 times!

Pros: Outgoing, pragmatic, easily adaptable, great at planning, artistic, problem solver.
Cons: impatient, selfish, unmotivated to the point of being lazy. (Also currently 7 mo pregnant so some of this is worse than usual)
DH and I balance each other out and even though we have a lot of similar traits he really values my strengths and I value his so we make a good team.

Pros: good listener, empathetic, punctual, organized, kind, practical
Cons: procrastinator, impatient (in general, but very much so with my kids), can lack motivation/direction, pessimist/grass is always greener type of mentality, anxiety, can be shy but mostly very introverted

Pros: caring, thoughtful and considerate, capable, dependable, smart, loyal, honest, nurturing, kind, can cook, playful and easily amused, i have a strong moral compass
Cons: lazy, unambitious, need a lot of alone time, stubborn, i have a temper, hold grudges, i'm a slob compared to most women

@irene: I agree that parenthood amplifies your cons. I was a decent person before and had good self esteem but that's mostly gone now with the relentless stress, insecurities and tedium motherhood has brought.
