For boys I like Truman, Harrison, Warren, and Henry.

I really like Raegan for a girl but would change the spelling to match my MN. This is actually probably a top contender if LO#2 is a girl.
I like Harrison but it doesn't go well with our last name. Is it bad that I don't know any great historical presidents names?
I had a friend in college named George and I liked it. He reminds me of the character George in the movie Erin Brockovich.

@Mr. Bee - LOL we have a "Lester the Molester" in our town....eek!
I really like Theodore (Theo, Teddy), but I kind of like the First Lady route - Jackie
I thought this question was going to be (based on names alone), would you rather name your child Barack or Mitt? I think I'd go for Barack (I really like Brock, so it's close enough).

My little brother's middle name is Jefferson after Thomas Jefferson and I always thought that was nice. But I second Teddy!

Theodore for a boy for sure! Althouth we can't actually even use it without sounding like Roosevelt freaks since our daughter is Eleanor. No idea for a girl, I really don't care for "last name" names for girls, but if I had to, I guess Kennedy?

@mrbee: Totally! Growing up, "Chester" was shorthand for creepster/molester types.

@mrs. wagon: don't forget, their youngest is Tyler!!
I remember that they were originally going to name them Reagan and Logan -- like the airports!

@mrbee: @Mrs. Jacks: I'm choosing Palmer as alternate universe president's name!

I love Lincoln and Jefferson. And Franklin, too.
For a girl, maybe Roosevelt, with Rosie as a nickname.

@Mrs. Cowgirl: omg. I forgot you knew them. Or maybe I didnt' know you knew them! I knew they were in the Virginia/DC area. Haha. Btw, things like this REALLY make me wish we could meet up, and soon!! I was watching CB's "baa baa black sheep" video and Wagon Sr. was like, dude. He and RJ would have SO much fun together.

i like Reagan and Kennedy for a girl and Harrison and Carter for a boy.

@Mrs. Cowgirl: I love me some President Palmer! But they both died while in office, or shortly after!

For a boy, I like Lincoln. For a girl, that's a little harder. I'd probably just go with Kennedy or Madison.

@mrbee: True, but he was a good, good man. I didn't really like any of the other 24 of presidents, though. You?
blogger / nectarine / 2687 posts
@mrs. wagon: I'm pretty sure we talked about it at least once! And yes, we definitely need to get the boys together!

@Mrs. Cowgirl: President Palmer was my favorite President by far!
I liked President Taylor ok too, in her first season! Too bad that former President Logan sent her down such a terrible path in her second season... I was sad to see her compromise her own principles so much.
blogger / nectarine / 2687 posts
@mrbee: yes, she was okay, but her daughter drove me crazy and I held that against her. Ha!
admin / wonderful grape / 20724 posts
@Mrs. Cowgirl: True, but her daughter did go to prison at least!
I was impressed that a parent could choose the Constitution over her own daughter (and husband too). Made me want to vote for President Taylor for a second term!!
blogger / nectarine / 2687 posts
@mrbee: okay, you're right. President Taylor wins for second best 24 president I miss 24!!!
Do you watch covert affairs? Nina is on this season (not as Nina, obviously) and she's crazy!
admin / wonderful grape / 20724 posts
@Mrs. Cowgirl: I haven't watched Covert Affairs, mostly because I think I would love it and get sucked in!
I can't bear to see Sarah Clarke in other roles though... Nina was a traitor to her own country. I can never forgive her for that... plus she killed Jack's wife! Boo.
I can barely watch Castle now, since Palmer's wife is the captain ugh. And I love Castle!

I always think Kennedy is a pretty president name on a girl.
I feel the same about Reagan from Up All Night. The name has totally grown on me!
I know DH likes William (as in Bill Clinton).

We have already decided that LO #2 will be Franklin, if it's a boy. Its a nod to my late FIL, who was Frank. I also like Theodore and Benjamin.
For a girl, I think I'd go Monroe.

We picked Harrison as a middle name for our baby but I was thinking more Beatle than Presidential...

Reagan is a cute name, but I so strongly disagree with his policies, I could never name a kid that! Clinton isn't a bad name, but its probably too soon. Could go by Clint though. I'd probably go with Franklin but I'm not a huge fan of Frank.
I like the suggestion of Roosevelt for a girl. Or Quincy.
