What would be your ideal age difference between LO2 and LO3?
DH likes the 20 months gap between ours and thinks it would be the ideal gap for a third but that would mean I would need to get pregnant again in 2 months and I am sooo not ready for that.
Curious to hear other people's plans!

Mine'll be 25 months apart?...kinda close to 2....But #3 will be be about 4-5 years behind #2.

We were PLANNING on 3 years between #2 and #3 but.... we are looking at 23 months! Luckily we don't have to pay for daycare.

@blackbird: My youngest nephew is 4.5 years younger than the middle nephew and it is a great age gap for my sister! I can't wait that long because I'll be too old

LO 1 and 2 are almost 16 months apart. I got pregnant with LO 3 when LO 2 was 19 months old.

We have 21 months between 1 and 2. We are thinking 24 months between 2 and 3, mostly because we like the time of year better. I am a bad pregnant person, so I just want to get it over with.

Well before DS came along I thought a 3 year age gap would be great between 2 and 3. But now I'm thinking a smaller gap would be good. I love the 20 month age gap! But I think that may be pushing it. I solo parent a lot and think I'll need DS2 to be a bit older. Now I'm thinking more like a 2 - 2 1/2 year gap. Definitely less than 3!

23.5 months between 1&2. We're hoping for about the same timing, maybe a little bit smaller of a gap between 2&3.
We'd like four and I'm 34 in a few days, clocks a ticking.

LO 1 and 2 are 17 mo apart. I would like to get pregnant again in like...ten years? Haha no idea. Too tired to even consider it. I think a 3 year gap sounds nice, but I don't know if that would make the third feel left out?

Our DS and DD are 21 months apart and we just started TTC #3 a month or two ago. If we get pregnant this month DD & baby would be about 22 months apart. I liked our age gap but wasn't thinking I would mentally be ready to TTC again. Once DD turned one, that all changed.

I'm pregnant with LO2 and that's putting us at a 19 month age gap. Im thinking that a 3 year hap between #2 and #3 would likely be easier than what we're doing right now but I'm wanting to go back to school when LO1 and 2 start school and a bigger gap between 2 and 3 would make that difficult. so we'll just have to see I guess

@Mamasig: Yes same ages! I also love the 20 months gap but I sah and think it would be so hard to do again.
@jedeve: yes I am also afraid of the third feeling left out too especially since the older two will only be a grade apart in school. But then I think I'm crazy because if we wait 2.5 years the oldest will just be 4, which is a normal age difference between consecutive children, right?
@creativemomma15: so glad to hear you were mentally ready sooner than you thought! Hope I get there within the next year too!

Sorry I am having trouble responding to everyone on my tablet. But thank you everyone for sharing! I am really surprised so many are planning on less than 3 year gaps. I thought everyone would say I was crazy for even thinking about it yet!

Our first two are 21 months apart. We were not ready for #3 at the same spacing. In fact things didn't settle down until M was closer to 3. She turns 3 tomorrow 
We'll still have 3 under 5, but only for a few months

I think I'll be ready to try for #3 when #2 is 18-24 months. Maybe even over 2, but not too much older. There are 20 months between my first 2, and I'm sure it'll be nice to have them this close in the future, but right now it's so. many. diapers.
#2 is just 5 weeks right now though, so maybe this age gap won't feel so impossible to repeat in a few months!

I'm still trying to figure this out, actually. Our first two are 13 months apart. I actually love the age gap and would have done it again but need to rest up after the two back to back pregnancies.
For our third, ideally I'd like to get pregnant in July or August and that would put us at a 21 or 22 month age gap between 2 and 3. However, that might be ideal in terms of months but DH and I aren't sure that it will be ideal in terms of me actually being pregnant again. So trying to decide between then or waiting until our next big vacation (just DH and I) in 2017 to start TTC. The issue is that if we waited until then we're probably looking at another birth in August of 2018 at the earliest and that would put 2 and 3 at over 4 years apart.

our first two are 16 months apart. we were planning on a third to be 3 years younger than LO#2 -- just found out we are pregnant this week, so I guess #3 will be just 2 years younger than LO#2! LO#1 will be 3.5 when LO#3 arrives

@coopsmama: we thought about spacing out our 3rd & then for sure having a 4th but we decided we wanted to power through the baby stage. Lol. I think it would be harder for us to get out of diapers & all that and then want to get back into it again. Does any of that make sense?

1 and 2 are 22 months apart. I would say I want at LEAST a 2 year age gap and would prefer 3, possibly up to 4. But DH has been saying some things recently that make me think HE's thinking two years would be nice. LO 2 is 9 months so we will see - I'd definitely need to increase LO1's preschool days if we go for a smaller gap!

@creativemomma15: totally! This is our dilemma too - if we have a bigger age gap between 2&3, we'd likely opt to have a 4th close in age to 3. If we have a smaller gap, it'd be easier to be finished at 3.

1 & 2 are 24 months apart & if this last pregnancy had been a sticky baby 2 & 3 would have been 13 months apart. We'll see what we end up with though.....

@skipra: It was really tough, because I didn't have a chance to get in shape after DS and I felt so exhausted while I had such a young baby at home. But it worked out and I wouldn't change anything.
@creativemomma15: That totally makes sense and I agree completely with the train of thought! I just need to get DH on board.

1 and 2 are 17 months apart. If I stayed at home
I could handle another right now, but I'm not and daycare kills so it'll be when dd is in either full day prek or kinder we'll reevaluate. That would be a 3-4 year gap between lo2

@matador84: I think 3 years is awesome. Besides you single parent a lot and that is tough. So far I've only had to handle three on my own for a couple hours at a time and it hasn't been bad. My 4.5 year old is a huge help!

We are thinking 3+ years. I think DH would have been ready earlier but back to back pregnancies and extended BF have done a number on my body and I really want to be well nourished beforehand.

The age difference between LO1 and LO2 is 23 months. The age difference between LO2 and LO3 is 22 months. I really like that age difference.

1 & 2 are 15 months apart. If we end up having a third, 2 will be at least 3 before we talk about if we'll try for #3! While I really like the 15 month age gap, I wouldn't have been able to do that again right away. My body needed a break.

#1 & #2 are 19 months apart. We are NTNP #3 (I know everyone hates that term, but whatevs 
) so if get pregnant right away #2 & #3 would be 15 months apart
