Do you plan on a 4th?
I feel like we've gotten this question a lot because we should "even it out." Doesn't help we have two girls and one boy rather than 3 of the same! But we are done and considering permanent bc options.

We have 3 kiddos, a tubal ligation and a vasectomy! Safe to say we are done at 3

N.O. I would have a nervous breakdown with an unexpected 4th.... We have all boys but I'm not remotely tempted to try for a girl!

due in 5 weeks with our 3rd girl and heck no! i'm DONE after this.
and yes, we get this a lot asking if we'll try for a boy. we were never trying for one thing or another, we just wanted 3 kiddos.

We have two girls and a boy. I'm open to a fourth, but I'm also happy with what we have.

Weāre expecting #3 in mid-April and Iām open to the idea of a fourth but not committed either way! I feel like when you start thinking about four kids you really have to consider the logistics whereas you can still have three kids in a normal car and a normal size house! Four is also much more of a financial stretch and I couldnāt / wouldnāt consider a fourth if it would stretch us too far.

I just had my 3rd. Like last week and I have gotten the āare you going to go for a fourth?ā question more than I would even like to think about. Even when I was pushing this one out, the doctor was asking me if I wanted more kids.
We are done!

@Kemma: we didn't think we could afford three but ended up lucking out on our larger house and dh is doing well at work so we can make it work but yeah four would stretch us too thin, especially in these early years (and then again in the teen years..)

Done, I think. I, getting too old and on medication that's not safe during pregnancy but if I were a year or two younger and med free I would consider it. Doesn't help that my older kids have been asking for another baby lately!

Done and tubes are tied! I have 2 boys and then a girl. If I had unlimited funds and were younger maybe Iād go for a 4th. But I kind of doubt it. I would for sure go crazy with a 4th.

We planned on two. I am currently halfway through a hard-won second sticky pregnancy.
It's twins this time.
There will definitely be no fourth!

@ElbieKay: Aww, congratulations! I'm sure it's probably a little daunting as well but one of the moms in my last birth group has twins after a singleton and they are so sweet! (Idk if she's around much but maybe she will chime in.)

@2littlepumpkins: thanks! I am really excited for the long term and somewhat anxious about the first year or two! First I have to get through the rest of this high risk pregnancy though. And convince my husband to get snipped afterwards

@ElbieKay: yeah three has been an adjustment and we don't have twins, but in a way it seems kind of good that at least two will be in similar stages. Obv take that with a grain of salt. So exciting!! I need to convince my dh to get snipped too.

I have 3 girls. Iād love another, but dh isnāt for it. He actually said in a few years he would consider another, but if we were to have a 4th, Iād want to have it in the next 12-18 months. I donāt think it will happen, but I also wouldnāt say we are definitely done.

@2littlepumpkins: we knew we could āaffordā three without any massive financial outlay (we have a decent sized house and an SUV, plus we donāt need any new baby stuff) but four kids would mean a bigger house and new cars and Iām not sure we could swing that in the next few years!
Iād also be pushing 40 and most likely dealing with GD again and further damage to my anatomy that comes from birthing big babies...

There was a time when I wanted 4.
Due to my age, some medical concerns, and finances, we are done at 3. I am still grieving that fact, but also at peace with it.....if that's possible lol

We had 3 for 11 months and then #4 was a shock. Now I want 2 more!
