I didn't PT in a method per say but started offering the potty at 2yrs old.
I admit I was lazy and repulsed about the thought of my kid peeing on the floor so I planned on letting him take the lead and go from there! No bare bums at my house!
He was in DCP so they offered thru the day as well.
He asked his teacher for underwear (not me, ha) and so we put him in them and that was that! Peed and pooped on the potty from then on - he was 2yrs 9 months.

My DS is 27 mos right now. He got such terrible diaper rash that we started leaving off his diaper around the house and just putting him on the potty around the time he was 13-14 mos. Although he was not expressing the need to go, we had very few accidents by 17 mos as he would just hold it and we made the effort to sit him on the potty every 1-2 hours. Today he still wears a diaper for naps/overnight but always tells us when he needs to poop and usually tells us when he needs to pee (while awake). I think having the toilet be a natural part of our day, and clapping and acting happy whenever he actually did something in it, were the keys.

We started around 2 - 3 years. But since we only had him every other weekend it was a little hard to be consistent.
Unfortunately, BOTH the boys have refused to pee because they are having too much fun and STILL have accidents now at 6 & 9. Which is the most frustrating thing in my life. (It's happening much LESS with the 9 year old, but we still have to tell him to go if we can tell he's holding it).

We bought a potty seat when E was around 19 months and put him on it before his bath and sometimes in the morning or after nap. He's only 22 months now and while he will sometimes pee when we put him on the seat, I don't think he's really ready to potty train yet. I'd like to have it done before he's 3.

I bought him a potty shortly after his first birthday. He was walking before he was one and I wanted him to sit on the potty, even though I knew probably wouldn't catch on right away.
I use it for him to sit on before his bath and before his night time diaper. He has gone on it a couple times and I always praise him but it doesn't make him want to do it any more/less, haha. I'm going to keep trying.
He turned 2 in December.

We bought a potty seat for E around 17 months? Maybe 18. We started sitting him on it and singing a special potty song. Because of diaper rashes from hell he's always gotten a lot of diaper free time, and every few hours or whenever he's showing signs that he's about to go, I'll plop him down, sing the song, make noises (like psssss for pee) and clap and make a big deal about it. Before I clean it out I'll point and tell him what it is.
He's 19.5 months now, and will sit on his own and pee every...4 times or so. And he's getting better about telling me when he's about to poop so I can put him on the chair.
We're not trying to actively potty train him, but we want him to be comfortable on the potty and hopefully get used to peeing and pooping in it.

DS1 was 2 years 8-9 months. I didn't do any potty training methods. One day he just took his diaper off and told me he needed to pee and never looked back.
DS2 is 2 now and not interested in the potty at all.

We started at 19 months and he was fully potty trained within about 2 months so by 21 months.

2.5 years. Pee took 1 day, poo about 2 weeks. He would only poop when we put a diaper on for naps or bed. When he finally figured out poop, he only ever had 3-4 poop accidents. He still has the occasional pee accident, usually when he's too busy and it is too late to make it to the toilet. Night training happened naturally on its own. We had him in diapers at night for about 2 months after he was trained and maybe 2 weeks into it he was waking up dry every morning. We waited to be sure and have only had 2-3 night accidents in 8 months!

I think we first bought a potty seat around age 2 but only very occasionally and sporadically used it. We tried to do a more concerted effort around 28 months but I think he wasn't ready, and it didn't work. Tried again around 31 months- cold turkey wearing underwear and going potty at regular intervals, and he had a single accident (pee only) and was trained in a couple days. No poop accidents at all. I'm really glad we waited till he seemed more ready and didn't push it with him earlier- it was ridiculously easy. He still has the occasional incident (he wears underwear to nap, but a diaper overnight, so about once every three weeks he'll wake up from a nap and forget he's not wearing a diaper and pee in his bed) but otherwise no problems.
He NEVER wakes up dry in the morning so I think night training is still a long ways off but I'm not concerned. He's almost 3- I figure once he hits 3.5 or so we'll start working on the night training.

We bought him a potty seat this month at 29 mos because he is interested in it. He asks to go potty and will sit on it for quite a while, even though nothing happens. He also wants to sit on it when we are using the bathroom and asks me for "paper". So cute!
