Beige with white millwork so it's not too dark...
ETA: it's a gloomy day so the photo looks dark haha but the white lightens it up a bit

We have mahogany floors. Our living room is very close to he Hellobee background green and we've got some mocha colored walls upstairs. The nursery is robins egg and they all look great with dark wood floors.

I don't honestly remember the name of the color, but we have an oatmeal-ish color. Let me take a picture.......pauseforphotoopportunity.....

@Mrs. Pen: I love grey too and DH loves Beige...haha this may be interesting
We both love both, but to agree on one will be difficult. We plan on doing the playroom a blue tone, but not sure which yet!

We are going through the process of picking a new wall colour to go with our dark wood floors.. I currently have 5 grey samples on the wall and it seems I may need to pick out a few more to make a final decision.. Grey can be a real PITA.. make sure you put the samples in all different lighting in the same room.. It is hard to find one that doesnt look too blue, too green, too purple ...etc..etc.

@REESE: Thanks for pointing that out, I will make sure I do that when we bring the swatches home, if we decide to do a gray!

Benjamin Moore Abalone is the color in the largest area of our house (living room, dining room, hall)
Covington Gray is in our nursery (2nd photo) and is also a nice neutral. It's slightly darker than the Abalone. The rest of our rooms are dark blues and darker grays so probably too overpowering in larger spaces.

@ladyfingers: I love that color, and your nursery is so cute!
