I've used those rug keeper pads but they don't work.
Thinking I need something else.

I use these sheets of rubbery stuff we get at Ikea. Seems to work well.

I use the same sheets that @pui: uses from Ikea. I have had no issues with them and right now I have 4 rugs on our main floor
