Hellobee Boards

Well, I live in Canada, so throughout the winter and fall I wear socks or slippers in the house. In the spring and summer when I don't wear socks outside then I go barefoot in the house. My LO will probably do the same! Last summer I never put socks on him (but he was also super little) and throughout this entire winter I've put socks on him everyday.

I don't think you're a wuss though...I love wearing slippers!

I am not sure if I am tougher against the cold or not, but I constantly walk around barefoot and our whole house is hardwood (tile in kitchen and bathroom). We let lo crawl around on it and she doesn't usually wear socks because she just rips them off and puts them in her mouth. We keep the temp at 70-71.

I grew up not wearing shoes in the house with carpet & I hate wearing socks, its a texture thing. As an adult I still walk barefoot around the house even though we have hard wood floors & my feet are cold. I will at times put socks on but usually on snow days or when it is super cold outside. I do the same with my shoes. Ill wear flip flops as long as I can cause I hate the feeling that my feet are suffocating.

@shopaholic: I don't know if my vote should count. Yes we had a tile house and we were always barefoot but it was in Florida. So winter was like a week of 30 degrees.

@Sugar.Biscuit: I could have written exactly the same thing! I hate socks and I really hate shoes! We have hardwood except in our kitchen and bathrooms where we have tile. I only put socks on if I am really cold.
