How often do you get asked...will you try for a boy/girl?
I have 2 girls and I hear this a few times a week. The next question is always but what if you have another girl?!??
I dunno...die? 
Cry for the rest of my life? Just kidding...

I don't like getting that question. I didn't have children because I wanted particular anatomy; I had them because I wanted children!

we have a boy and another boy on the way, but we don't get asked that much because i think everyone knows we are aiming for 4
to be honest i really would like to have 2 girls, so we'll see what happens!!

I think everyone assumes that EVERYONE else wants one of each and that the only reason they'd try for a third is if they didn't get one of each. It's completely ludicrous!
I actually wouldn't mind a boy next. Even though I eventually wish for a girl.

i have 2 girls, so I get the will you try for a boy question alot which is ok, that alone doesn't bug me, but when some people start in on that I have to have a boy, or that I need to have a boy, that starts rubbing me the wrong way. i don't know why people feel the need to impose their opinions so strongly on other people.

I kinda hope we get 2 boys. I love my little man! I'd love a girl too. Since we only have one at the moment, we get the "when are you having more?" question instead.

I don't have 2(yet) but when I got pregnant with #2, everyone asked if we were going to try for a girl/third if #2 was another boy.

When I had my two boys I got that a lot. Now that I have a daughter people often say" now your done." We may be done but I get offended that people actually feel they should tell me I'm done.

We're expecting another boy, and people have already started asking whether or not we will try for a third for that possibility of a girl. I am more than content with two. Fortune telling uncle has been crazy accurate with my pregnancies and genders. If he is correct, I'm supposed to have a third, and the third will be a girl. I don't care so much about gender. I just like having a family, and two boys actually makes me really happy.
P.S. I am one of 5 girls. Needless to say my parents kept trying and trying for a boy. I don't want to end up with 5 boys. Imagine the chaos!

I'm dreading this question. I have a boy and am expecting another. Would I like a girl? Yes, frankly. But if I have a third, it will have to be because I want another *child* and not simply a girl. Because it's nothing more, nothing less than a coin flip.
