I wouldn't mind 3 kids...but it wouldn't have anything to do with gender.

Yes. The main reason being we're the last ones in DH's side to have kids and there has not been a single boy yet. So I would want to at least try one more time for a boy so the line does not die with our generation.

Maybe his family can pool a donation for kid #3? It's for a good cause!!! hahah

My husband only wants two and said he's ok with two girls (DD is our first). I would consider trying for a third.

I have a friend who has three boys (she was trying for a girl). They decided to not take a chance on trying again for a girl.

We have two girls. If I wasn't the age that I am, I might consider going for a boy... But I'd be fine if we had a third girl as well. I grew up in a family of three girls and it wasnt too crazy! (or if it was, I don't remember).

I want 3 kids. A boy would be great!

@Mrs. Jacks: Haha, people always assume my parents were going for a boy (how else do you end up with 5 girls?!) But most of us were surprises. No planning involved!

I honestly would have been happy with whatever we got. We were very lucky to get one girl and one boy, but if that was changed, I don't think it would affect our family plans.

No, we're done after this one. I know someone who already has a boy and just found out she's 5 months pregnant with another boy. She's already planning on trying for her third in hopes of a girl.

I really want three kids, but I don't think I would try for a third just because I wanted a certain sex. I'm sure I would have a bit of a preference, but that wouldn't be why we had a third.

when we got pregnant with #2, DH was adamant that if it was another boy we were done...I on the other hand wanted to try for #3 if it was another boy. it's a girl, so we are stopping after her.
