I live on 34th Street so...there's a lot I walk out my front door and see the Empire State Building. I still take pics sometimes, especially when it's lit up with cool colors.
Also can't resist the ceiling of Grand Central!
Love Shake Shack too! We probably go once a month.
I used to work across the street from Radio City and 30 Rock so that was fun at Christmas time. I mean, the tourists EVERYWHERE wasn't fun :-). But getting to see Radio City and Rock Center decorated for Christmas was nice. I got to walk by the big Christmas tree and skating rink every day, how cool is that?!
Also love the Delacorte Music Clock in Central Park. I'll stand and wait an extra 20 minutes waiting for it to go off.
We also like to do walking tours of the city, maybe 1-2 a year. It's a nice thing for my husband and I to do. Big Onion Tours is great!

I grew up in a famous ski town that is also home to a very famous film festival. Growing up I went skiing every weekend and when old enough attended many films at the film festival. I still live close and still do those things if I can!!

I live in the center of Vienna, so there are hordes of tourists everywhere. The city center is really gorgeous and I walk by a lot of the main sites on my way to other neighborhoods. We go to the museums, zoo, stroll along the canal and drink Vienese coffee pretty regularly.

I also like to frequent museums, make the occasional stop at Sprinkles and since I have to come in through Grand Central, sometimes take a quick look around at its beauty (so much nicer than when I commuted from Penn).
I've still never been to the Statue of Liberty and I was born here!

I enjoy going up to the Space Needle for lunch. I've done it three times and would recommend all my out of town guests to do it. I get a Costco gift card ($100 gc for only $80... 20% discount). Go for lunch since it's cheaper than dinner prices. Also, because you go up for lunch you get a free trip up to the observation deck. Tickets for just the observation deck is $16 pp! Pretty good deal to me if you do the Costco and lunch trick.

I'm from the Caribbean (raised in St Lucia., now live in Trinidad) and I go to the beach every chance I get! I also never refuse coconut water straight from the coconut

I live just outside and Washington and work a few blocks from the White House. I've been to see the Cherry Blossoms numerous times, even though it's always a mob scene they are beautiful. When a motorcade goes by I tend to wonder who's in the cars. The Smithsonian, although we haven't been since we had our two year old. Driving on the GW Parkway at night (I'm the passenger) and starring at the moments

I go to Sprinkles for cupcakes once in a while & live facing a golf course. There's mountains all around since Phoenix is in the valley. I need to do more local stuff lol.

We hit the museums when we can in my city. They offer a ton of free days for residents. We love Italian beef and eat it all of the time. I miss Chicago style hot dogs while pregnant. The great thing about my city is that the neighborhoods are fantastic, so we don't do touristy things much.

@Mrs. Confetti: I work not far from State Street, so I shop at Macy's/Marshall Field's fairly often. There's an Old Navy and some other great shops nearby. It's a little annoying hauling it on the El, but the shopping's good so I do it. My OB is off of Mag Mile, so sometimes I shop there after appointments too.

I used to live very close to a national park famous for hiking, kayaking and beaches in nz. I went to the beach, hiked and kayaked a lot
