...did you keep your old clothes to wear as you got bigger? Or were maternity clothes the better option?
(Not yet pregnant, just trying to figure out what to do with my old clothes)

I'm not sure if this helps but I basically have three wardrobes of clothes - maternity stuff, skinny stuff for when I'm nursing, and normal clothes for when my babies turn one and I start gaining weight again!
I also kept my good quality and good condition clothing from when I was heavier or I did a swap with a friend so I could get the clothes back if I needed them...

I kept one pair of pants one size up that got me through the first trimester. One or two pair of pants might be good to hold on to. I figure I might need them post partum too

My bigger clothes came in handy when I was newly pregnant but didn't want to fully move into maternity clothing yet and again postpartum when I hadn't gotten back to my normal size yet. They were perfect for straddling those in between periods. Congrats on the weight loss!

I kept my bigger clothes for postpartum, I think it was mostly the wrong season for wearing during my pregnancy. I ended up buying cheap maternity clothes, but I’m also a SAHM so I didn’t need nice work clothes.

Bigger clothes for postpartum for sure! It's nice to have "real clothes" that fit instead of yoga pants every day for weeks on end (but yoga pants rock, so that's cool too!)
I found that I didn't like the tightness of regular waistbands on my pregnant belly, so I moved to maternity pants straight from my normal pants, rather than going to bigger regular waist pants. Bigger shirts were helpful at first in hiding the belly before I was ready to announce.

Bigger clothes sound like a good idea postpartum! I haven't really gained weight, but my whole body is a different shape and I had to get rid of clothes that were very tailored to my figure. OK, I get hips changing, but my ribcage getting wider? That was an unfortunate surprise, and I lost too many dresses to it.
