We just moved when lo was 2 weeks shy of 1. Her new room is a lot brighter than her old one and louder street noises (we got a sound machine) and she had issues for the first night or so, but all good since! Her daycare stayed the same so there was that considtency

We moved when L was 19 months. No big deal.
Did you guys get a house?

we just moved. dd is 2.5 and ds is 9 months. i was super stressed about the move but it ended up not being a big deal for the kids at all! haha they did great! we kept bedtime routines the same (bath, read books, sleep) and they adjusted fine. we even had to stay at my parents for a couple weeks between houses and they both slept great at both places. dd did say she was scared the first 2 nights at the new house but she didn't cry and still fell asleep by herself. and we also had to share a room with our son at my parents and he was starting to get used to seeing us in the morning (aka earlier wakeups!) but once we moved he started sleeping in to his normal time.

moved when DD was just over 2. she had some potty training regressions, but that's it. she's totally thrived and we went from knowing a ton of people, to knowing no one.

DS was 2.5 the first time we moved and he did fine. We moved again when he was 4 and again, did fine. DD, however, was 11 months old and totally frightened to sleep in our new house. She wouldn't sleep at night in her crib (only in my bed) and wouldn't nap during the day (just cried every time I would put her down).

We moved when DD was 5 weeks, 22 months, and 2.5 years. She did well every time and didn't need much of an adjustment period.

We moved when LO was 21 months and I was amazed at the fact that there were zero issues.

We moved last year right before our oldest turned 3 and he still complains about not liking this house and wanting the old house, but otherwise has no issues. I'm not sure if it helps thing that we only moved a mile down the road and sometimes pass the old place or have to travel the same roads we did when we lived there.

Yes! Mostly with my almost five year old, a little with my almost three year old, but none with my 15 month old. My five year old still asks to move back, we moved here in late January.

We did when they were 29 months & 5 months. The first week was brutal with the 29 month old getting out of bed multiple times a night (seriously. If my mom wasn't there that week I don't know how I would have managed!) Other than that, all good!

I think you know my story with the crazy international move and yes, it was a huge adjustment for my almost two year old! That being said, once we got a house, we had 11 weeks until we could move in and we spent loads of time talking about our new house. We took walks or drives by it frequently (hello creepers!) and talked about how she was going to have a big girl bed in her new room etc. All the talking up worked and she was so excited once we moved in - we had absolutely zero adjustment issues, she was bouncing off the walls excited for a good two weeks, which I fully attribute to the 11 weeks we spent talking it up! DD1 was nearly 2.5 when we finally moved in (she was 21 months when we started the moving process); DD2 was oblivious to it all at 2-9 months old!

No issues at 20 months. She had some questions about "home" vs "the new house" but she adjusted quickly.

The older my kiddo has been the harder the move has been but really nothing to complain about!

I moved with a 14 month old, and he didn't have any issues. I think he was too young to really realize what was happening. The house we moved to gave him more room to run around in and a nice outdoor area, so he probably was happy with the upgrade.

We moved when DD was 1.5 years old. It was the first time she had her own room and she started fighting bed time. We had to sleep train her all over again.

We moved out of our first house just before lo1 turned 15 months. The only problem was that with timing between buying and selling we had to live separately from DH for a month and only see him on weekends. Mondays were always really difficult, with lots of tears and refusing to nap and go to bed. Once we were all in our new house it was just fun and exciting! A year and a half later, lo likes to talk about our "old home" but I don't think he remembers it at all.

We moved twice between 20 months and 2.5 years, it's never been an issue. We moved from our first apartment to two temporary places then into our house, my son did fine every time.

We moved DD1 at 9, 21 and 27 months, al with no issues. Dd2 was 4 months and was just fine as well.

We moved internationally with a 16 month old and three year old. The older one was mostly ok other than asking to go back from time to time. The younger one went from one wake up or STTN to multiple wake ups for months! It was bad! We are going to be moving again soon and I am dreading it but I think/hope that because it will be more local it won't be as big of an adjustment.

No adjustment at 19 months. We moved from our house to my parents house for 6 weeks and then into our new house. I was so so so worried about regressions and trouble adjusting but he did awesome.

D was 1.5 and we moved 2x within 8 weeks (in with my parents for 8 weeks, then into our new house). There was an adjustment period with bedtime, but I think it was a little bit moving adjustment and a little bit growth/milestone adjustment. While at my parents, he took his first steps and started a new daycare...it was a lot all at once!
